Today marks a HUGE day in my 12 year psoriasis journey and I’m feeling very emotional😢 after spending the last 5 years suffering with chronic plaque psoriasis and trying to find an answer naturally, the day has finally come where I’ve had to book a dermatologist appointment to understand what my next steps are with dealing with my condition. Today the dermatologist told me I need to be on biological injections for the rest of my life to manage my psoriasis because it’s gotten so bad now I risk developing other health conditions too; which, is so hard to hear 😔 if it wasn’t for being in a stage of life where we want to start a family I would start taking the injections tomorrow…but these aren’t safe for women during that stage of life so for now, I am starting UV phototherapy again for my 3rd time to try and manage my current flare ❤️‍🩹 I’m hoping this short term treatment plan can help to manage my skin until I’m able to take the medication my body needs to be healthy😔

For the last couple of years all Rosie talks about is having a bookshelf to keep her books on so today I decided to make that dream come true for her…annnd it made me realise that I actually WANT her to buy more books now so completely fill it up because that is so satisfying 😂📚

TAMPONS!!!!😡😤One thing I will NEVER be able to stop talking about it women’s health and how we just aren’t prioritised🤬Recent studies have proven for a FACT that tampons have been found to contain toxic metals like lead and arsenic and us women have been using them for years without realising we have been slowly poisoning ourselves. These toxic metals get absorbed so easily into our bodies and have been linked to cause SO MANY scary illnesses, diseases and side effects. It’s time to stop putting these toxic things inside us and look for alternatives because this has gone too far now😰I’ll be documenting what I find to use as an alternative as well as how I get on using alternative options rather than tampons❤️‍🩹

Today is Rosie’s first day of treatment for her chronic psoriasis and we are both so happy to get this started so her skin starts to clear up❤️‍🩹from now on Rosie has to have UV phototherapy 3 times a week which is pretty intense but it’ll be worth it!🤞🏼this type of treatment is everything we are both relying on to keep Rosie’s psoriasis clear short term before she starts a biological injection when the time is right 😌 #couples #relationships #rosieandharry
