This combines two classic desserts, with a slightly creamier mascarpone filling to match the pudding texture of banana pudding, uses mashed banana throughout, and is filled with bourbon coffee lady fingers. Mix up a batch of this DIY soil mix for whenever the repotting bug strikes this spring! Use equal-ish parts of each! I don’t measure, obviously 😅 I prefer to use a different perlite that’s slightly more chunky & less dusty but this is all I could find last minute! There have been SO many times I’ve been in the middle of repotting and realized I didn’t have enough soil so now I always keep a batch of this on hand! It’s great for a wide variety of plants (indoor + out!) and you can always add more amendments to spice it up - some of my favorite additions are horticultural charcoal, pumice, & beneficial microbes! I store it in a container with a lid to prevent fungus gnats from taking up residence & open the lid weekly to air it out.
