He was everything to me, my favorite person in the entire world. And now, now he’s lost interest. How did I not see it coming? How did I not realize that the spark was fading? It’s like someone ripped out a piece of my heart and left this gaping hole inside me.l keep replaying all our memories in my head, trying to figure out where it all went wrong. Was it something I said? Something I did? Or was it just inevitable, destined to end like this from the beginning? The pain is suffocating, consuming me from the inside out.I thought he was the one, the one I would spend the rest of my life with. But now, now I’m left here alone, trying to pick up the pieces of my shattered heart. How do I move on from this? How do I learn to live without him?But I have to try. I have to find a way to heal, to mend my broken soul. It won’t be easy, and the road ahead seems daunting, but I know I’m stronger than I realize. I have to remind myself that this pain won’t last forever, that one day, I’ll look back on this moment and see it as a distant memory. I’ll take it one day at a time, allowing myself to feel the pain but also finding moments of joy in the little things. I’ll surround myself with friends and family who love me unconditionally, who will support me through this dark time. And most importantly, I’ll focus on loving myself, on rediscovering who I am outside of this relationship.It won’t be easy, but l’ll get through this. I’ll emerge from the darkness stronger and more resilient than ever before. And one day, !’ll find someone who sees my worth, who cherishes me as much as I cherish them. How did you get out of the toxic relationship? Here is my story: When I met him, I thought I had met the love of my life, my soulmate. Sadly, the key word is "THOUGHT". I'm not gonna lie, there were a lot of red flags from the very beginning, but they didn't seem major at the time. The red flags, such as controlling and sometimes aggressive behavior, I would just close my eyes to. As time went by, the aggression grew, and it seemed as if he fully took control over my life. It felt like I wasn’t the one in charge. I couldn’t make any decisions for myself, I wasn’t allowed to have friends, and every time I would do something without telling him, he would yell and threaten me. That was my life for 2 years. I didn’t really share what was going on with anyone. I was just quietly living in hell. When it got to the point where I lost any excitement for life, when waking up in the morning felt like a punishment and my depression reached the top, I made a decision that I needed to get out. I will be honest, I wasn’t able to leave right away. For several months I was stuck between leaving him and then coming back. It was very hard to fully separate myself. For some reason, I kept believing that there is a chance that it all will change, he will change. But that was the stupidest thing I ever thought of. People who don’t want to change will never change! One day, I gave myself a promise that this time I will leave and never come back. I promised myself to never talk or communicate with that person. I made a decision to fully cut him out of my life. And it worked. Yes it was hard, yes it was painful, yes it felt like I would never be happy again or I would ever be able to feel any emotions except sadness and negativity. But I was wrong. After some time, I stopped constantly crying. After some more time, I found passion, inspiration, and motivation for work. And then, I found myself again. I found a better and a stronger version of myself. Yes, it was a long and difficult journey. But I’m so proud of myself for not giving up on myself. I’m proud that I was able to find strength within myself to overcome everything. Right now I feel truly happy, I have so many goals and dreams. And I cannot wait for everything that is waiting for me in the future. If I was able to do it, you can too! I BELIEVE IN YOU! You are strong! Do it for yourself. Singapore, a small island nation where running into familiar faces is a common occurrence. Yet, I've never bumped into any of my ex-boyfriends since our breakups. It's not just a coincidence; I believe it's a sign of closure.

When a relationship ends, it's like a door closes, and our paths are no longer aligned. We move on, and God conspires to keep us apart. It's a natural process, and I've experienced it firsthand.

Except for one instance, when I was still hung up on an ex. I was driving near his neighborhood (which happened to be close to my office) and saw him at a traffic light, holding hands with another girl. They were carrying grocery bags, and I couldn't help but wonder how long he'd known her to be buying groceries together. That moment, all my lingering feelings vanished.
