#SelfcareSaturday - thought I’d share a #hairhack I learnt recently…. Since I’ve had my hair cut a bit shorter I’ve been curling it A LOT (like pretty much every day) and as with anything - practice makes perfect so thought I’d share what is working for me….. Various hairdressers have told me this trick of curling some bits forward and some backwards (whereas I’ve always just done all my curls away from my face as that’s what I was always taught) but it really helps avoid that blocky look around the front of my face. I was using my straighteners here for speed (@abbyhorne taught me how to use the @dyson corrale a few months ago if you look back in my feed you’ll see our insta live) and I’ve just practiced and practiced the technique ever since, but I sometimes use a wand but the same trick of one forward one back. Well this week we’ve got another guest dragon in the den - and trust me when I say this one gets firey! It was an absolute joy having Emma Grede over to film with us - she’s from the UK originally but she’s now based in LA as she works with the Kardashians in some of their businesses and also she’s a guest shark on Shark Tank over there (their version of Dragons’ Den!) so let’s just say she was pretty to the point and didn’t pull many punches when she had her say! Ok so I’ve gone a bit different for my #selfcaressaturday upload this weekend (and yes it’s not lost on me that I forgot to upload it at the weekend) and thought I’d share my evening routine. (So instead of a #GRWM I guess it’s a ‘Get un-ready with me!) Im one of those who loves nothing more than getting my frock off (it’s a new one from @Scamp & Dude for those wondering!) and into my PJ’s when I first come in, and then I’m diligent about taking all of my makeup off and my evening skincare regime (here I used my @true_skincare oil based cleanser, @cerave wash, @garnieruk micellar water then @avon_uk eye cream and serum, @katesomervilleskincare night cream and @tatcha lip mask) Then I’m a month in trying these @nourkrin hair vitamins and I feel I can see the different already with the baby hairs around my face line coming in, and I’ve been reading (and loving!) @alexandra.heminsley’s Under the Same Stars book (I’ve actually just finished it since filming this mid week and it’s such a delightful read) Any questions as always ask away and I’ll do my best to answer! It’s so bloody cold out here we’ve been given an incredible amount of kit but the trick to getting it on right it layering the base, mid and top layers, so I had to take it off in the right order last night so I knew how to put it all back on!
