Kayak stuck on a big alligator in Florida. It's always good to be extra careful when kayaking in murky water where there are alligators. Guy outruns the woman he was with after being startled by a curious Manatee at the beach in Florida. He didn't see the Manatee until the woman pointed at it, and even then he couldn't really see it until he stood up and looked at it from a higher angle. If you want to see what's in the water around you, wear polarized glasses, they make a HUGE difference. Although he probably shouldn't have outrun the woman he was with, it's understandable to be startled by a friendly Manatee. Not everyone knows what Manatees are, and some people think they are only in fresh water so they're suprised to see one in the gulf or the ocean. And sometimes you just can't see them because of sun glare and wind disturbance on the surface of the water.
