Strong relationships are built from healing deep wounds. We did that. We healed many layers of our relationship and personal life for years intentionally and deliberately 🥵 After being uprooted from our normal lives last year, we found our relationship being challenged. We did a great job pivoting from that circumstance but we didn’t do a great job of being intentional with one another because we hit the ground running to stabilize a life for our Tribe quickly. It wasn’t until I (Wifey) started training for my internship, and we were forced to be apart, that we realized we missed our time together 🥹 Good thing for us is that it doesn’t take too many lessons before we pivot back to our reality. Our hearts for all the couples or aspiring lovers is to always find your way back to base, “home”, with your partner. Life isn’t always going to be smooth sailing and smiles so you have to find a “code word” to use when you feel like you’re off base with your partner. And don’t blame each other for the distance. Today we went to grab some things from our storage and we ended up having a super deep conversation about the journey to getting that storage. Being evicted in December 2023 didn’t really shock us the way it would for most people— it actually was a wake up call and reminder of our goals. We settled for that apartment. Nothing about it was a reflection of who we were or what we desired. Sometimes people get so emotionally invested in things because we don’t fully trust letting go to align with what we manifested— this is fueled by fear. LET GO! We realized that what we spent months prior manifesting and believing for was delayed because we didn’t define a limit to our desperation. Even in a pinch, even when things are tight, even when you’re trying to escape your reality you HAVE to define your desperation limit. How low are you willing to go? How far are you willing to be detoured from your desires and plans? We never set that limit making us susceptible to anything that fit our budget even if it didn’t align with our desires. It was unacceptable! We learned a public lesson to never get comfortable with things we didn’t ask for. Learn from our example and stick to your goals. If we stopped at the first challenge we endured together, our story wouldn’t be what it is today. The journey of intentionally choosing each other every day wasn’t an easy “yes”. It was challenging. It took many moments of fighting through wanting to leave, wanting to throw in the towel and healing to be better for one another. It took a lot of dismantling our ego and putting our pride in the grave next to it. We stripped so much of “my way” to create a new way together. But we knew what was on the other side of our intentional efforts: bliss. We will never support or paint the picture that going through the mud with someone qualifies you for a blissful love or a deeper connection. It doesn’t. In fact we sometimes wish we didn’t have to endure the lows we endured just to be here today. But because we are unconventional people individually it kinda came with the territory of our story being written. Your forever story depends on how much YOU are willing to release in order to make room for all the memories, experiences and joy you get to share with your pre destined, life partner. The work, lessons and experiences you go through together depends on what you agree to as a couple. It doesn’t have to be hard but it has to be balanced. Each of you must give YOUR best always! No matter what YOUR best looks like it must be consistent and honest. That’s how forever stories are made: balance, honesty and a joint desire to live the best life together no matter what.
