me when i am professing my liking to my friend Denise, but she does not hear me (she likely did and is just in awe of what was said) so she replies with a “what did you say” and i panic and immediately 180 my position from a compliment to an insult followed by a swift statement to end the conversation, but with a friendly smile to insinuate that it was a joke. I then reply with a peace sign, and panicking, not knowing what to do with my hands, i give Denise the finger. The realization of what i have done takes over immediately and i cover my hand. Suddenly, the dog i own appears behind my feet and i begin to fall, but catch myself and return to a standing position, clearly distressed from the previous 10 seconds. Finallt, in an act of physical comedy, i attempt to lean against a non-existent wall, where i fall with one foot rising into the air.

since I was 13 I wanted to be a creator. I got picked on in middle school for a lot of things… weight, clothes, the way I acted, and the shows/movies/creators I watched. Communities like those of Jacksepticeye, Markiplier, and MatPat gave me a place where I felt a sense of oneness… like I wasn’t an outlier for the things I enjoyed. In fact, people enjoyed the same things I did. I continued to watch them through high school, adding new creators like Shane & Ryan to my late night viewings. Then college came, and on the heels of that… the pandemic. Then one day, I started creating my own content. I felt just like those I watched that made me feel at home in a world that so ready to dismiss me. A few took notice. I still remember the first message I received. I was on Bus 33 at Reitz Union at the University of Florida. I had just wrapped up working in Marston Library and was waiting for the bus driver to return from their restroom break to head home. I made a tweet the day before saying i wanted to travel to LA for work at some point. Shane & Ryan’s social media manager messaged me saying, “hi! this is incredibly lowkey and not official but i work for @wearewatcher and we are fans of yours so in the future we would love to invite you to any of our shows (which would mean travelling to la!)” At first I disregarded it, “this isnt real” i thought to myself. Then i saw that Watcher (their company), Shane, and Ryan folllwed her. My face went numb. “They are fans of MY content?”. Tears filled my eyes as i replied, “This is incredibly unconfirmed but I might have teared up after reading this. I will 100% absolutely travel at any point”. I remember when Sean (Jacksepticeye) followed me in February of 2023… I (happy) cried that night too. 3 months later he messaged me asking if I wanted to work for him. I got the notification while on a FaceTime call and did more airkicks than I have ever done in my life… all while still on the phone. Casually chatting with him or having lunch still feels so surreal. Just 2 1/2 weeks ago I received a message from one of the Try Guys… more on that later (hopefully) ;) I’m eternally grateful to y’all for allowing me this platform to grow and follow wild dreams. I know to a lot of you I am “Rubik’s Cube guy” or “Discord guy” or “hand guy” or “the guy that annoys the hell out of me when i see his face”. I really want to give a special thank you to those of you that see me as just “Quinn” (yes its two N’s not one lol). I appreciate you caring about more than silly dance videos. Cheering me on when something incredible happens or holding me up when every few months the fyp decides to collectively turn on me. Thank you for liking me as I am, and watching even the dumbest or cringiest things I make. You had and continue to have an indescribable impact on me. That is why im obsessed with the phrase “obediently yours” (no its not a h0rn E statement like many of yall think). It means im forever in your debt. Thank you :)
