No shower shelf? No problem! This is our Children’s bathroom and this area here was where the old boiler used to be. We took it out so that we could have a free standing bath and full shower in here. Unfortunately it meant we didn’t have space to have an integrated shelf to put the shampoo and body wash on. Suction cup holders after time fall off and so when I saw this I knew it was perfect. A great solution to a niggly problem so thought I’d share. The extra hooks so that nothing needs to be on the floor (squeegee for example) and the towel hook so your towels close when you get out of the shower and easy to clean too are all 👏🏻👏🏻for me! The start of our garden transformation! And one that we love and are so pleased we did! I’ve popped all the actual prices and pics at the time when we bought them as people always think we were lying with how much it cost😂. We did both during covid and I’m not going to lie it was a hard slog! But me and Danny arent afraid to put the hours in 😂. We’d never done anything like it before but 3 yrs on it’s still going strong and looking great. I know it will cost more now as materials have gone up in price but I’ve included the exact materials used so you can cost it up if you want to try something similar. It will still save you a lot of money though❤️ The garden before was very much in a cottage style and I wanted my outside to reflect the inside -and with all that glass -a continuation of our home ❤️ Honestly, we are so happy with how it turned out and I’m really happy to see lots of you have been inspired and done it too or something similar. I like to share each year (sorry for my old followers😂) but for my new followers you won’t have seen this and it made such a huge impact on the rest of the garden-it started it all! Grass Hack! Morning! Each year when I start showing my garden (around this time😂) people ask if my grass is Faux. It’s not and I use this! (not an ad just something I use and like and get asked about) I actually bought the autumn winter one and forgot to put it on 😂 so I’ve popped this on my grass this week and it’s looking a bit like the before photos at the moment but I promise you in a few weeks time it will be looking a lot healthier and in a month or so it will be looking a lot more luscious and thick. Amazon Garden find! How have I not known about this before? If your new to this like I was and you are wanting to use these type of stones in your garden or you have already got them-this is for you! I got so sick of weeds coming through and stones always on my patio and having to sweep them up and this is ace! If you’ve not put any down yet you can pre-mix it with the solution beforehand or if your like me already have them down -you can pour the solution on top. As you can see I put my leaf blower on max so you could see it worked! Traditional moulding but a modern look! I love the plain walls in my hallway it suits the aesthetics of my home, adding mirrors and art to decorate but this wall on my stairs has always niggled me. It’s not enough space to put photos or art on and to be honest I have enough in my hallway and landing but I just felt it needed something more. I literally thought about it one morning and off I went with an eye roll off Danny😂 He knows what I’m like -no patience for waiting and if I think I can do it-I’ll have a good go! By the time he got back for his lunch it was done 🙌🏻. These things do take practice and I’ve done it a few times now but it really is simple (I’ve done a more detailed ‘how to’ on another reel this year if you want to take a look) you just need the right tools. I use my mitre saw -they’re not super expensive but it saves so much time! Our Rabbits home! For those that have followed me for a long time know that we have lion head rabbits (Bonnie and Boo) that live in our home with us. I really wanted to design something that: 1.They would love 2.Fit into our home surrounding without looking like a ‘pet home’ After doing a couple of rough sketches (I’ll share them on insta stories with you) I came up with this design! I wanted to create something that looked like units from the outside and that also could be converted into normal units easily if needed but that I could also use too! The laundry ledge is super handy and the seat bench too but the rest is really for the rabbits. It has a 2 story area and a one story area with doors that retract and that have mesh on so that if we close the doors there’s lots of air flowing through still. They get to roam in and out but this is where they sleep or hide away from the rest of the house 😂 For some people it may look over the top but our rabbits are part of our family and we wanted them to feel loved but also we wanted a space for them that we are happy with too. Would you have known it was a pet home if I’d not shared what it did?

Don’t know where to start? This is what we did! And literally went from there. This was our starting point and then I designed the rest of the garden around it. The core part-the colours, is what I used to create a flow from the inside to outside. The anthracite colours of my windows, island and furniture and my nordic finished light floors and furniture of the inside I replicated on my fencing borders and furniture. I used the finish also on my diy outdoor kitchen. Then I started on my corner shed which is now the pergola area and then the rest! Don’t let anyone else effect what you want to do or who you want to be! ❤️ Over the past few years I have really come to realise who I am, what I love and what I want in my life, who I want in my life and what I don’t need in my life. Ive learnt to try as best as I can to protect my energy. That might just have come with age or the fact I’ve had some pretty big things I’ve had to deal with recently (which I haven’t shared on here) which has really made me look into myself and figure a lot of things out. Also social media is not for the light hearted -I focus on the positives, and all the lovely things that come with it but there are a lot of negatives too-bitchiness, horrid comments, people judging you when they don’t know you. But to be honest it’s helped with positivity in all aspects of my life because of that. It’s trained my mind to try and always look for the good, it’s not always easy! I definitely have bad days believe me! but I really try to be positive in myself and with what I share with you. With that in mind, I wanted to share how important it is to be true to yourself! Wear what you want to wear, be with who you want to be with, it’s ok to sit and chill, it’s ok to do diy, don’t feel guilty for taking time out for you, do what feels right for you and to hell with what anyone else thinks! Your either going to love this or hate it😂 New reveal! DIY IKEA MIRROR HACK! £50 ..and a great light and easy way to hide your tv too! This has been one of those jobs I had to keep coming back to with drying time and cutting etc… I wasn’t quite sure how it was going to turn out either but you know me I’ll keep on going until I’m happy with it. I’m a little obsessed with freeform organic pieces at the moment especially in mirrors. I shared a few pics that were my inspo on the screen. This type of thing tends to be quite expensive if you are to buy it from a shop so I thought you know what-I’ve used expanding foam for displays at school before, I’ll give this a go! It was tricky with the shape as lots of the mirrors I’ve seen are oval or round and I wanted to make sure the tv was covered but I’m happy with how the shape turned out. Hope this has given you some inspo if you want to try and of course you can try different shapes too. The main feature for me though with this type of mirror was to make it light so that I could easily take the mirror on and off. Replying to @Captain Nase My trees🌳 Morning! I’ve had so many messages about these recently-i thought I’d do a tik tok ❤️ When we made the borders and fencing I tried to keep as many of the shrubs and plants as possible but I also knew I wanted something taller-that could be used to help keep the garden private and evergreen. When I saw these in my local garden centre @den_taylor_dtail I took the stock he had 😂 they were around £150 each at the time but that was 4 yrs ago (he’s told me since he’s has hundreds of phone calls 😂about them but they have gone up-I got mine during covid) They are ELEANGUS EBBINGEI and they have been fantastic! They are easy to maintain and look great all year round. They’ve grown a lot bigger and fuller but we won’t let them get any larger now we will keep them that size. I did add a few other new plants and flowers but I’ll leave that for another time.
