This bourbon specifically has a good flavor, but not much of an "old" flavor, so I am doing some extra aging in a mini barrel to see what it tastes like. This video goes out to anyone who has tried bourbon (or any whiskey) on ice because they were told it made it smooth… and been disgusted by it. Okay, I know a lot of people will just listen to the first half and then get mad at me - please watch all the way through before you do so. The point is NOT that whiskey on ice is bad. I even enjoy it on a hot day. The issue is that it does NOT magically make your whiskey smoother. Depending on your palate, it might make it much worse.
