I don't come across too many jet tubs anymore when I'm cleaning a home; however, when I do, this is my cleaning process. I fill the tub with hot water, turn the jets on, drop two dishwashing tablets, and let the jets run for 20 to 30 minutes. The tablets will loosen any greasy residue left behind from soap and body oils. I want to specify I am using dishwasher tablets, the tablets you put into your dishwasher when you want to wash your dishes. Do not use laundry detergent tablets like Tide Pods. You will make a big sudsy mess. Once the time is up, this is what I am typically left with. I drain the water. Then, I use a bathroom cleaner and a magic eraser to scrub the tub. And I'll use a Grout brush to clean around the Jets and then i rinse the jet tub one more time with water. #jettubcleaning #bathroomclean #bathtubscrub #thomasvillega

‼️IMPORTANT‼️I don't suggest this type of deep cleaning for regular, maintenance cleaning of your blinds. The blinds in the video were neglected and needed more than just a wipe-down. Most other blinds (Metal & Wood Venetian, Vertical, Fabric, and Roller blinds) that are just dusty can be cleaned in place. ( this applies for shutters as well) I suggest dusting or vacuuming them first to remove any loose dust. Then follow up with a microfiber towel and & a multisurface cleaner of your choice. I'm often asked if I have a “hack” to quickly clean blinds, and unfortunately, I don't. It takes a few minutes, but if you want to clean your blinds, you’re going to have to wipe them by hand. Of course, if you dust them often with something like a Swiffer, the dust build-up will be minimal & won't become caked on. Also, if you are working with blinds in a similar state as the ones in the video, and you can't take them outside to clean, you can use a bathtub. Fill it with warm water, add a little dish soap, let the blinds soak in the tub for 15-20 minutes, rinse with water, and let them dry completely before putting them back up. 🧽🧼 #cleaningblinds #windowblinds #thomasvillega #cleaningtips #dawnpowerwash

If you’re cleaning a shower glass door, & there isn’t a detachable shower head to rinse the cleaning product off the glass door, take a spray bottle, fill it with water, & get a squeegee. Spray the glass door with water, & then use your squeegee to wipe the product off of the door. I like to do this because I can control where the water goes & I won’t get splashed with water. Another way I like to use my spray water bottle is when I’m cleaning an oven. You don’t want any cleaning product to stay behind in your oven, so it’s important to ensure your oven has been rinsed well with water when you are done cleaning it. So whether you used dish soap, bar keepers friend, easy Off, or other products, once you are done scrubbing, spray water, & wipe the oven a few times. #showerglassdoor #cleaninghacks #cleaningtips #thomasvillega

Let me show you how I store my powder cleanser, in particular, bar keepers friends. Now, maybe you don't use bar keepers like I do, but this same method can be applied to any powder cleanser that doesn't come with a lid like Powder Comet. I like to store it in a seasoning jar. But I use a jar that can be sealed—not something like this or this, but something like what's in that box. You need the powder to stay sealed when it's not in use so that it can remain fresh and not clump up on you. I remove the lid with a can opener and pour the powder into the jar. Any excess powder that falls out lands in the measuring cup, and then I pour it back into the can and keep filling my jars with powder bar keepers friend. Once I'm done, I add the clear disc on top and then put the lid on them. And they're ready to go. The seasoning jar fits perfectly in my cleaning caddy. I pull it out when I need to clean a surface at a job, sprinkle the powder cleanser, put the lid back on, and it goes back into my caddy. Since it has a tight, secured lid, I don't have to worry about powder getting all over my caddie if the jar falls over or my cleaning powder clumping up. #cleaningtips #cleaninghacks #cleaningmotivation #comet #barkeepersfriend

Let’s see if I can get this air vent cover All nice and clean again. As you can see, there’s a good bit of dust on here, but before I clean it, I’m going to use a shop vac to vacuum as much dust off as possible. Now, even though I got this first layer of dust off the air vent cover, you can see that it is still dirty. So I sprayed some of the @Sprayway all-purpose cleaner all over the vent. I let it sit for a couple of minutes so that it could start to lift the grime, and then I went in with this scrub brush that I got from Walmart and started to scrub the vent cover. All the dirt came off pretty quickly, and once I was done cleaning, I rinsed it off with water and then came in with a microfiber towel to dry it. And here are the results.
