Pulling and lowering are not the same. Typically when players pull down on the grip or “pull on a chain” in transition the wrists collapse, club narrows to the body, and shaft steepens as you can see here. When lowering rhe wrsit angles are being maintained and the club is staying wide from the body, this results in the club falling more behind. As the arms lower this is where you can blend body rotation nicely. #golf #golftiktok #golftok @StitchGolf

The wedge matrix is an absolute game changer. I’ve done two recent longer videos about three weeks back in the feed discussing how to hit knock down wedges and how to build the matrix. I’ve had a lot of feed back from players recently saying how much this has helped. Essentially with all of my wedges I have 3 swings; 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4. I don’t hit wedges full because they’re harder to control. By having repeatable swings and distances the guess work is removed from wedge play. With these lengths of swing it is more feel based for where that club ends up, I feel like my half swing in these videos stops at lead arm chest high/parallel to the ground but in reality it’s actually past it. I don’t get to caught up in where the club actually is as long as the feel is repeatable for you. Here is what my matrix looks like for 1/4 (waist high), 1/2 (chest high), and 3/4 (shoulder high) shots with all wedges. • 60°: 20 yards, 60 yards, 80 yards • 54°: 25 yards, 80 yards, 105 yards • 50°: 50 yards, 95 yards, 115 yards If I got in between distances such as 40 yards or 70 yards I will open the face slightly on 50 or 80 yard techniques to take a few yards off but the swings don’t change. #golftiktok #golf

Looking to score better? One of the biggest things you can do is avoid wasted shots on the greens with 3 and 4 putts. These are two tips that I recommend you use to avoid the big numbers: 1: Walk the length of the putt. Reading it from behind to get the break is key but I also like to walk the putt off and break it into pieces. Reading a 50 footer can be tricky but typically I will break it into two or three sections. If I feel section one is uphill breaking slightly left but section two is down hill breaks slight right I know I can play close to a flat, straight putt. If one section is more severe you can decide which way you need to favor. 2: Take a few practice strokes looking at the hole. This is not to practice your technique but more so to help with speed. Most sports are reactionary, when shooting a basketball or throwing a football you don’t think about how far it needs to go. You see the target and react. By looking at the hole this can help the brain and body sync up a little bit better to judge the speed. I recently worked on a player on this who was having upwards of 45+ putts a round. After working on this in a lesson putts have dropped to the low to mid 30s with career lows back to back weekends, I can tell you these work! Not a great finish but the third shot on 2 was filthy. Always nice to do one club 9s to let some creativity work in rather than focusing on the same swing mechanics all the time. #golf #golftiktok #golftok

If you record your golf swing to check positions the angle its done at is critical. Of course if you’re playing a round with friends and filming for fun this isn’t something to spend much time thinking about, but if you are recodding for perfomrnsce reasons this is something to follow closely #golf #golftiktok #golftips

We all leave rounds saying we could have scored lower but this one stings a bit. Putting grip is potentially being changed to left hand low as you read this for a change of pace #golf #golftiktok #golftok

‼️Officially have made a putter change ‼️ Over the last year I was putting with a wider blade and while my putting improved there was still a lot to be desired. Some of the issues admittedly are due to poor green reading but I still wasn’t too comfortable on the greens and left a lot out there. A few weeks ago I used a friends Jailbird and was sold. Went out and bought one but didn’t love the original grip so the Flatso 17” went on. On the practice green it felt great but on the course, not so much. With such a long grip I couldn’t get my hands in a consistent, comfortable position and didn’t like the feel of so much weight in the grip. Fast forward a few days and I used another friends @labgolfputters and liked it, the face felt very stable and fanning the blade open felt impossible. I bought one of my own and got it out to the course and haven’t felt this comfortable on the greens in a while. Two tournament rounds this past weekend with no misses inside 6 feet with multiple makes in the 8-15 foot range which is huge for me. Stoked to pair this up with some solid ball striking and see where the game goes. . Code BRYCECOPE24 for 20% off @StitchGolf #golf #golftiktok #golftok
