We need to talk about the insane hate going on towards RJ/Antony Azor right now. Because it is not ok at all. There is a huge difference between constructive criticism and bullying. And what's happening is full on bullying. Going to the kids Instagram and sending death threats? That's not ok. Did we learn nothing from Jake Lloyd!? Let's not let this turn into that. And about the scene, the kid had 3 lines and if we are being honest he nailed 2/3 of those lines, he really did and anyone who denies that is just trying to find things to hate. The only one that even I found cringe worthy was "I believed" but that is a cringy line in general, that's on the writers, not the kid. Him saying "You're the brave man?" Was good! He showed curiosity and question in his tone. That was great for an 8 year old. It was also realistic to the situation, Rick was always known as the Brave Man to RJ, he was curious and intruiged that this was the beloved brave man hes heard all these stories about. And if you really hate the line then blame the writers, because his delievery on that line was good, it was normal. His body language toward leaving michonne to go talk to Rick was so good for showing a child who never knew their dad. And he had a good reaction to Rick fixing his hat, he had a proud and believable smile on his face. Him hugging Rick. All of these things were good an believeable. You have to consider that he is a child, he acted like most child actors do at that age! You all expect him to have an Oscar worthy performance and for what? Yes Cailey and Chandler were better actors, however it is so rare to find good child actors, so rare, they got lucky. RJ was cast because he looks like Rick and he was a toddler at the time, they didn't need a brilliant actor. But even with all this, he's not this terrible actor you all make him out to be, he was delt one bad line which he had to perform as an average 8 year old child and you all attack him for that. Get a life. You have no reason to be hating on this child. Then again let's not have another Jake Lloyd situation. sorry for the rant but it was necessary. #rjgrimes #theoneswholive
