Do you feel a difference based on what time you eat? I personally don’t feel great eating right before bed and I always pay the price the next day 😭 I recently stopped intermittent fasting because of how it affects women and found these studies super interesting. One of the neuroscientists in the study made a great point: a calorie is a calorie, but the way your body responds to a calorie is different in the morning vs the evening. Take these studies with a grain of salt and be mindful of your own personal circumstances - nourish your body when you need to, regardless of the hour and if you’re trying to lose weight, be aware of your overall caloric intake. Nevertheless, I found these super insightful as someone who has previously struggled with eating/used to skip breakfast for the sake of losing weight. I don’t like to create regimes for weight loss anymore but I do like to be mindful of what’s best from a health perspective.
