During Ramadan, I got my 9-year-old daughter involved in the kitchen. She makes zobo, sometimes pepper soup or salad, and the other 2 of my daughters set up the table before iftar every day! . . Today, I asked her to make stew for lunch, and it turned out really well. I was the one filming, so I had to walk her through a few steps, she picked up skills quickly and retained them forever…Indai jar miya ce yanzu ta gama da ita 😂❣️
Ramadan with little ones can be a joyful challenge! How are you all coping with iftar with kids? Share your tips with me please ! . . Ga gajiyar aiki , ga magana kuma sunfi kowa chin abinchin 😂🌙 #RamadanWithKids #Iftar
My children’s school is hosting a cultural day event; each student is expected to dress in the attire of the culture they were assigned as well as bring foods representative of that culture. . Maeisha was chosen to represent the Kanuri culture, so I cooked Burabuskon Biski with Miyar Taushe for her. Haula represents Yoruba culture. I wanted to make amala, ewedu soup, and gbegiri, but ewedu leaves were scarce in the market, so we were unable to buy any. As a result, I had to change the menu to egushi soup with poundo . Laila represents the Fulani culture, therefore of course, I shall make Fura da Nono for her. . . Comment for part II . 🥰🥰🥰
Back-to-school shopping with the kids was a lot of fun. We went to two shopping malls, I took them to an ice cream shop, and we couldn’t finish our shopping. I became exhausted 😴.. I will get the rest of tbe items I missed tomorrow Insha Allah ... . . . ❤️❤️
