Finding beauty in broken places ❤️‍🩹 Down at the seafront in Brighton & Hove are these little huts, and on this day I noticed this one was a bit more battered than usual. Could be due to the weather, or some not very nice locals... but still, through the cracks and broken pieces, there's still beauty to be found. 📸✨🌊⛱️🌅 Taken with my Nikon F3 on Candido 200 35mm film. Filters used were blue and yellow gradients, plus a soft focus yellow filter. I've been feeling a bit odd about making content for a while. Basically, I was out almost everyday at the start of 2024 to take photos, but then hardly did so in February. So, this was the first time I went out to take some pictures and make some content at the start of March, and admittedly I questioned my confidence. I felt at this point everything I do is so repetitive, that I'm just doing the same thing over and over again. Also, I decided to no longer pursue a more commercial route with photography due to some situations that occurred at the end of 2023, so I've been feeling a bit misplaced on what I'm actually doing with any of this. The thing is, I genuinely love taking photographs. Sharing how I do it with the world and the response I've been getting over the last couple of years has been amazing, but also kinda scary. Imposter syndrome really gets me in a chokehold sometimes. With that said, I'm going to continue doing the thing I love and share it with you. I have no grand scheme or any idea what to develop, but I have found the joy in doing this stuff without the nagging pressure of being something that I am not.
