On February 28th the Kansas City Fire Department were called to a fire where they found Benny badly burned. An Animal Services Officer was called to bring Benny to KC Pet Project where they started life saving treatment. Benny sustained burns to his nose, ears, and back. After working to control his body temperature, cleaning his wounds, and placing medicated patches we are happy to say the Benny is now in a stable condition. Benny has a long road ahead of him but we are hopeful that he will make a full recovery.
