I got an email from a bride asking if I’d paint several loaves of sourdough for her wedding. She wanted to have a table arrayed with painted sourdough loaves… my heart kind of skipped a beat thinking about the opportunity, but I quickly remembered how this is purely a hobby of mine and not a source of income. As an artist, I paint and draw flowers with the intent of selling somehow; however, when I paint on sourdough it’s purely for my enjoyment and relaxation believe it or not 😅 I don’t have to worry about a customer’s satisfaction over the product, just my own.
