The perfect countertop option for the snack bar I’m working on! Laminate is low maintenance, easy on the budget, and these in particular look GOOD! Unlike most stock laminate countertops, these don’t have a backsplash piece attached. This helps them look a little more like stone countertops (I think)! They come in many sizes - not just the 6 ft length I used! So they are a viable option for a complete kitchen, too. 👇🏻 👇🏻 👇🏻 If you want the details on these, I put the info in my profile! Or drop any other comments or questions below, too! And…follow along to see more of this DIY snack bar project (and the other DIYs I share)! ❤️ #laminatecountertop #diylaminatecountertop #diycountertops

Keep the paint job super simple to avoid making the peg dolls look clownish. (Ask me how I know. 😂) Isn’t this 3D family portrait such an awesome DIY gift? Im thinking it’s a great Mother’s Day gift, or maybe a wedding gift (if you paint the peg dolls in their wedding clothes)! #craftstosayiloveyou #mothersdaygift #sentimentalgift

All the brown wood plus the arched doors made me think of the wild west every time I went in this dining room. I used this china cabinet as practice for my larger kitchen cabinet painting project, and I love how it turned out! I used Benjamin Moore Advance Primer (tinted), which is no longer sold, and Benjamin Moore Advance paint in semi-gloss Waller Green for the topcoat. And that mirror was a little tricky because typically you antique a mirror from the back. Since this was glued in place I couldn’t do that. So I did a faux finish right on the face of it. If you tell me you like the before better, I’m gonna tell you to go have another drink. #furnituremakeover #cabinetpainting #diningroommakeover

This door makeover started out rocky to say the least! Yes, I was embarrassed to close it before I could fix it. 😂 But, it all worked out in the end and I was able to make a great faux wood finish! I have a written tutorial for painting any door to look like wood. It’s on my blog in my profile so check it out. And, feel free to ask me any questions! #fauxwooddoor #doortransformation #gelstains

I love a thrift store flip, don’t you? ❤️ I was excited to find this because my Goodwill doesn’t sell furniture anymore! And this was kinda sorta furniture. That new top is really sturdy and my DIY coffee table turned out cute, I think! What do you think of it? #thriftstoreflip #upcycledfurniture #diycoffeetable

The faces I was making when the tile cutting wasn’t going well . . . 😂 OK wow I learned SO MUCH from this DIY Dry Bar project. First, I learned that I have learned so much from all of my DIY projects over the years. I knew how to do more than I thought! Next, I learned that pushing yourself is the best way to be proud of yourself and gain confidence. When’s the last time you did something totally new? Finally, I learned that even though I didn’t want a single person’s help with this project, it’s not a sign of weakness to accept help. My husband saved me from a tile cutting disaster. Asking for help made the end result better. So there you have it. I hope you like my basement snack bar that I built. I put my heart and soul into it and am very proud of it. 🥰 Thank you for watching; I know it’s a long video. #homediyproject #basementbar #stockcabinets
