It’s a different experience for me going to the river dito province as an adult. Di na ako sinusundo ng palo ni mama LOL! We used to swim in the river every weekend, me and my friends. Saturday morning manood muna ng cartoons sa TV tas rekta na sa ilog. And we’d spend half the day there. Kasi mag lalaba ng uniform, laro, luto-luto atbp. Kuha ng bayabas as a side quest, the boys will smash some coconuts and the girls naman forda nguya ng niyog tas pahid sa hair as a natural conditioner 🤭. Pinag titripan din namin mga kalabaw na iniiwan sa ilog. Those were simpler times 😌 Dami na nag bago mula nung huling andito ako. Di na sya ganon kaganda. Some industrial firms are taking from it now 😔 But its nice that i get to relive a memory from my childhood.
