Day 75! 1995 Yamaha Banshee, this was the third Banshee in my collection and the first one I had shipped from out of state. I bought it from a CSI crime scene investigator who was the original owner he was so skeptical about selling it to me I had to mail a cashiers check to the police department for $2,500 #75hard Moto edition💪
Honda's FL400 ran a 397cc single-cylinder two-stroke motor and was one of the last two-stroke ATVs Honda sold in the United States. It has a V-belt toque-converter transmission and while horsepower numbers were sketchy, this bad boy would get you rolling at 60-65 miles per hour with a huge grin on your face.
(Day 79) I bought them from a Yamaha dealer in upstate NY, he had held onto them since 2006 in the back of his warehouse until apparently he decided to sell most of his motorsports collection and get into classic cars. His employee DM’d me and asked if I’d be interested m, the rest was history.
1991 Yamaha Banshee all original survivor (day84) this one ranks top 3 in rarity in my opinion 88’ is for sure the hardest to find then I would say 90 & 91 are pretty close.
Day 70, 2012 Replica Banshee, going to tear it down and Powdercoat the frame red and suspension black to the correct colors. Also going to “borrow” the motor while it’s under construction 🚧
1989 Honda TRX 250R with an MSRP $4,098 equivalent to $10,400 today with inflation. It combined a lightweight frame and good handling with a liquid-cooled two-stroke engine and six-speed close-ratio transmission.
