SUNDAYS ARE FOR BAKING: FOCACCIA👩🏻‍🍳 Baking focaccia is significantly cheaper and significantly more delicious than therapy, you need it in your life🤌 Recipe: -500g bread flour -425g warm water -pinch of salt -1 tbsp maple syrup -5g instant yeast -2 tbsp olive oil plus 2 tbsp olive oil for the topping Method: -Start by making the dough, to do so mix together the warm water, maple syrup and yeast, let sit for 5 minutes -Add flour and salt to a bowl followed by yeast mixture and stir until a shaggy dough has formed drizzle with oil and set sit for 15 minutes -Make 4 folds in dough as shown then cover and let sit for 25minutes -Repeat step above a further 3 times -Cover with clingfilm and place dough in a warm place for a further 3 hours -Transfer dough to well oiled deep sided baking tray and gently stretch out to fill tray -Cover and rest in a warm place for a further 1-1.5hours -Drizzle over the rest of the olive oil and dimple using the tips of your fingers -Top with flakey salt and rosemary -Add focaccia to preheated oven at 210C for 15-20minutes until golden and crispy -Enjoy warmed with your pals! 🍞 #baking #baker #bakery #asmr #satisfying #bread #breadmaking #focaccia #breadrecipe #homemadebread #fyp #viral #Recipe #cooking

AD||VOLUME ON FOR THAT CRUNCHHH 🔊 Chicken Pot Pie + Scissor Sisters, what more could you want from a cozy evening in?🥧 Chicken & Leek Filo Pastry Pot Pie🐓: -1 1/2 tbsp butter -2 large leeks -1-2 carrots depending on size -2 tbsp plain flour -150ml white wine -Approx 500ml good quality chicken stock -2 heaped tsp @Grey Poupon Dijon mustard -Approx 100ml double cream -Salt and pepper to taste -1/2 tsp nutmeg -Approx 250g shredded cooked chicken -Large bunch of chopped parsley -Large bunch of chopped wild garlic (optional) -8-10 sheets of filo pastry -75g melted butter to brush Method: -Slice leeks and carrots and add to a large frying pan alongside the butter over a medium heat -Sauté for about 5 minutes until softened -Stir through flour and cook for a further couple of minutes until it begins to smell nutty -Deglaze the pan with the wine then slowly stir through the warm stock until smooth and evenly incorporated, simmer until thickened -Stir through the mustard, cream, chicken, herbs and seasonings -Transfer to a pie dish and allow to cool slightly -Scrunch up the filo pastry and lay on the pie mix as shown -Brush over the melted butter then bake in a preheated oven at 180C for about 20-25 minutes until golden and crisp -Enjoy this hug in a bowl! #chickenpotpie #chickenpie #satisfying #asmr #chicken #chickenrecipes #pie #springrecipes #leftovers #comfortfood #filopastry #pastry #crispy #fyp #viral #food #Recipe #cooking

BIG OL’ BOWL OF UDON GOODNESS 🍜 Prawn Katsu Curry Udon, serves 2🍛: For the sauce: -1 tbsp butter -1 diced onion -1 diced carrot -Small thumb of grated ginger -2 minced garlic cloves -1 heaped tsp miso -Approx 350ml boiling water or stock -2 1/2 golden curry cubes Other: -Udon cooked to packet instructions -An egg boiled for 6 minutes before being placed in an ice bath -Katsu prawns -Spring onion -Sesame seeds -Shichimi Method: -Add butter, onion and carrot to a pan over medium heat and sauté for a couple of minutes until softened -Once softened, stir through garlic and ginger and fry for a few more minutes -Add the miso and fry for a further minute or so (I know you’re supposed to stir through miso at the end but I love the slightly nutty taste of the miso fried in the butter!) -Pour in stock/water alongside curry cubes and stir until dissolved -Gently boil for a few minutes to thicken then pour over you udon, make sure to coat your noodles in the curry so each bite is delicious! -Serve up with your toppings and enjoy 🥢 #curry #curryudon #udon #udonnoodles #katsu #katsucurry #katsudon #noodles #noodlesoup #asianfood #ramen #prawns #asmr #EasyRecipes

THESE WERE UN-BAO-LIEVABLY GOOD🤌 Sorry for the pun, these bao buns really did slap though, one of the best things I’ve made in a while! 😋 Recipe: For the chicken: -1 Chicken thigh cut into strips For the wet coating: -1 egg -75ml buttermilk -1 tbsp rice wine vinegar -1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce -1 tsp fish sauce -1 large garlic clove, minced -Large thumb of ginger, grated Dry coating: -Approx 200g potato starch -2 tbsp sesame seeds -1 tsp Korean chilli powder -1 tsp onion granules -1 tsp garlic granules -Large pink of salt Sauce to toss in: -3 tbsp soy sauce -2 tbsp gochujang -1 tsp apple cider vinegar -1 tsp honey Spring onion garnish: -1 tbsp sesame oil -1 tbsp rice wine vinegar -3 spring onions, finely sliced -Small bunch of coriander, finely sliced To Serve: -3 bao buns -Kewpie mayo -Sesame seeds Method: -Whisk together the wet coating then add in your chicken, cover and place in fridge for 2 hours -Meanwhile make your spring onion garnish by heating the oil and vinegar until hot then pouring over the spring onions and coriander -Drain chicken and coat in evenly mixed dry coating -Shallow fry in hot neutral oil for a few minutes either side until golden, crisp and cooked through out -Remove from oil and drain on a clean tray lined with kitchen roll -Make the sauce by dimpled whisking together the ingredients -Pour sauce over chicken and toss until evenly coated -Serve in steamed buns alongside kewpie mayo, spring onion garnish and sesame seeds, enjoy 🍗 #bao #baobuns #asmr #kfc #karaage #friedchicken #chickenbao #barsnacks #asianfood #koreanfood #chicken #fyp #viral #food #cooking #Recipe #EasyRecipe #lunch #snack
