I don’t usually share the rough moments on here but here is what our evenings look like sometimes. I was so happy my husband was home from work so I could put in my AirPods and listen to my audiobook while I made dinner and have a few minutes to myself. Well about 12 seconds into it this happened. My kids saw me in the kitchen and only wanted me. My husband tried everything to get them to come back to play with him and they just began to cry because they wanted me so I got frustrated gave up on dinner and we all ended up on the floor. Did I learn anything from this experience? Yeah! I learned that I’m not gonna hog the next newborn as much so that they become more obsessed with my husband!😭😂🤦‍♀️ I’m kidding I love my kids and I know I’m the default parent right now and that’s okay! In fact it’s healthy development! But we still have moments where we all end up frustrated and that’s okay! #momlife #mommoments #motherhoodunfiltered

I might not recover from this trend! They really are tiny uses.
