#ad Sausage Egg & Cheese STUFFED French Toast! ☀️☕️ Recipe: -2 packages @KING’S HAWAIIAN original sweet rolls. -1lb breakfast sausage (browned) -4 eggs (scrambled) -1 cup shredded cheddar cheese French toast batter: -3/4 cup milk OR vanilla coffee creamer -2 eggs -1/2 tsp cinnamon -splash of vanilla extract Directions: Combine sausage egg and cheese into a mixing bowl. Remove the top of each roll in a circular motion, similar to cutting a lid. Then, use your knife to carefully hollow out the inside, leaving a border around the edges. Fill each roll with a generous portion of the sausage mixture then replace the top. Dip each roll into the French toast batter making sure to coat all sides. Cook on a lightly greased nonstick skillet on a medium heat. Brown all sides then dust with powdered sugar! Notes: The filling keeps well in the fridge, I make these for breakfast during the school week so having it already made makes it easy! Pesto Chicken Bake! 2 pounds of chicken breast 1 pint of cherry tomatoes, halved 6 ounces of pesto 1/2 cup of sliced garlic cloves 1 bag of shredded mozzarella cheese 1 pound of thin spaghetti Garlic & herb seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste Preheat the oven to 425°F. Flatten the chicken breast to an even thickness, then drizzle with olive oil. Season with salt, pepper, garlic, and herb to taste, and add a generous amount of pesto. Once the chicken is evenly coated on both sides, set it aside. In a 9x13 baking dish, combine tomatoes, garlic, 4 tablespoons of olive oil, and 4 ounces of pesto. Season with more garlic and herb, salt, and pepper. Mix well. Place the chicken breast into the baking dish, moving the tomatoes to the side. Bake for 20 minutes, then top the chicken with cheese and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until it reaches 165°F.
