#ad Finally sharing one of my most popular recipes of all time— #ad made SO easily thanks to @McCormick Spices garlic powder, parsley, salt, & pepper. Spices can make or break a recipe, which is why I always opt for high quality McCormick. We never have a speck of leftovers when I make this for dinner. Feel free to add broccoli to the pot of pasta—I just prefer to serve mine on the side (for the picky eaters). 1 tablespoon olive oil 2 chicken breasts, cubed ½ teaspoon McCormick garlic powder McCormick salt & pepper to taste 14 oz chicken broth 1 cup heavy cream ½ lb penne pasta 1 ½ cups parmesan cheese McCormick parsley for garnish Heat the oil in a medium or large pot, then add chicken breast. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, and saute until par cooked. Add the garlic powder and cook one more minute. Add chicken broth, cream, and penne. Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce to a simmer for 15-20 minutes, until the liquid is mostly absorbed. Add Parmesan and stir. Serve with McCormick parsley flakes. #ad These are quite the showstoppers! #ad The danish filling is incredibly simple, made with the best of the best, @McCormick Spices vanilla extract. McCormick is incredibly flavorful and a little goes a long way, which is perfect when you want vanilla flavor without adding so much extract that it changes the color. I use it in the filling and the glaze for insane flavor! 2 sheets frozen puff pastry, thawed 8 ounces softened cream cheese ¼ cup sugar 1 teaspoon McCormick vanilla extract Toppings of choice—jam, fresh fruit, lemon curd, etc Egg wash Glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar ½ teaspoon vanilla extract 1 tablespoon cream, add more as needed Preheat oven to 400F/200C. Beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. For full sized danishes, cut each puff pastry sheet into 4 squares. Fold in each corner, and dollop around 2 tablespoons of cheese mixture into the center. Don’t spread it around too much, just keep it barely touching the tips of the folded-in corners. Add any additional toppings, if desired. Brush the edges with egg wash. Bake 15-20 minutes (I find 16 minutes is the perfect time for me). While the pastries are cooling, mix the glaze, and drizzle it over cooled danishes. #puffpastry #homemade

#ad Some of my best memories growing up were baking with my mom. #ad She sparked my love of cooking, and taught me so many special family recipes and techniques. I will always remember the sweet smell of @McCormick Spices vanilla extract wafting through the kitchen as we worked together to make dessert. It smelled so good to me, all I wanted to do was take a sip, hah! I carry on the tradition of always keeping it stocked in my pantry for all my sweet treats! 4 egg whites 1 ½ cups sugar, blended finely 2 teaspoons cornstarch 1 teaspoon McCormick vanilla extract ½ teaspoon McCormick cream of tartar ¼ teaspoon fine salt Fresh fruit Whipped cream: 1 cup heavy cream ¼ cup powdered sugar ½ teaspoon McCormick vanilla extract Preheat oven to 200F/93C. Whip the egg whites, cream of tartar, and salt until it becomes a thick froth. Add the sugar in 3 batches, and mix FOREVER—aka 12-15 minutes, until the egg whites form glossy, shiny peaks. You know it’s done when you can rub the mixture between your fingers without feeling any grains of sugar. Add the cornstarch and vanilla, and beat until combined and those stiff peaks are forming again. If you need a guide for forming the pavlova, trace a dinner plate on a piece of parchment paper before lining your baking sheet with it. Dump the egg mixture onto the parchment, forming a ~10 inch circle. I make my pavlovas about 3-4 inches tall, with a crater in the middle. I’ve found it makes it way easier to fill with fruit and prevents breakage. Bake the pavlova for 2 hours 15 minutes. Turn the oven off and leave the pavlova in the closed oven as long as possible, or overnight. This is key for structural integrity. When you’re ready to serve, beat the heavy cream with sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form. Spread the whipped cream onto the crater of the pavlova, and top with fresh fruit of choice. Enjoy your masterpiece!
