It’s wedding Wednesday! I don’t think I ever posted about my wedding gift from Jared before. It was super special for a few reasons: We both gifted each other time. Jared gifted me this gorgeous Rolex, and I gifted him a gold pocket watch with a very sentimental engraving on it. Time is my biggest fear in life, and something I talked about during my vows (the passage of time, time moving too fast, never having enough time), so giving the gift of time was super symbolic for me. And the fact that Jared gave the gift of time back to me with the same sentiment was such a kismet moment for both of us that I’ll never forget. Also, since the moment we start dating, I had this idea in my head that I would get Jared a Rolex as the ultimate wedding gift (he’s a big watch guy and a BIG Rolex guy and has alwaysssss wanted one). But as the wedding planning got so crazy (and I basically sucked my bank account dry 😂), I decided the pocket watch was more appropriate for the moment. So it was even MORE of a shock that he got ME a Rolex as a wedding gift. It was literally the last thing I would expect. Even though it’s a silly material gift, it kinda symbolizes how thoughtful and selfless he is that I got to show off my shiny new Rolex before him.
