Have you tried cleaning with lemons? 🍋🍋 Cleaning with lemons is such a great, chemical free and easy way to clean so many things around your home. Here are a few of my favourites… 1. Use toothpaste and a lemon to clean the washing machine to remove nasty odours and leave it sparkling. 2. Sprinkle bicarbonate of soda onto half a lemon to clean your sink. The abrasive mix of bicarbonate of soda with citric lemon, helps to remove any grime build up and leaves it smelling fresh. 3. Create a simmer pot using lemon, rosemary, vanilla extract and peppercorns. To create a beautiful aroma in the home. Perfect for when you have guests visiting. 4. Use salt and lemon to freshen up chopping boards, finish with a wood oil to help them look like new. 5. Pop some lemons in water and place this in a 200 degree oven for 20 minutes. This helps to breakdown any burnt on stains. Then use the warm lemon water to wipe over the oven afterwards to clean. LEMON & TOOTHPASTE CLEANING HACK 🍋 have you tried it? It’s that time again… let’s give the washing machine a much needed deep clean, to rid it of mould, grime and musty smells! Steps on how to clean your washing machine 1️⃣ Remove the filter and drain water - unplug the hose and drain the water into a bowl or tray. Then remove the filter and soak in warm soapy water to clean. Clean filter space with white vinegar and a cloth. 2️⃣ Take out the drawer and soak in warm soapy water with a splash of white vinegar 3️⃣ Clean behind the drawer - spray with white vinegar and use a sonic scrubber to help you get into the nooks. 4️⃣ Clean the rubber seal and drum - spray with multi purpose spray and wipe with a microfibre cloth to remove any grime build up. 5️⃣ Clean drawer with a sonic scrubber to do the hard work of removing mould and detergent build up. 6️⃣ Reassemble washing machine - remember to replace filter and hose stopper.
