I just finished this sewing pattern for an extra wide and extra long cloth menstrual pad. There are so many options for customizing the shape in order to get it to fit just right.

It can be fun to tinker with the image and find a composition that looks really great as a repeating seamless pattern. I personally find it soothing to sit for hours and edit the art. If you don’t have all the fancy software, then you can still do this with just your phone. But you’ll want to do a mirrored repeat in Spoonflower instead of one that is edited around the image to be seamless. Just crop your photo to an area that you think is pretty, upload it to Spoonflower and then use the mirror setting and you’ll get some cool symmetrical designs. ##surfacedesign##seamlesspattern
