Read caption ⤵️⤵️⤵️ - Follow @profitplug to better make, save and invest your money!! If you got a refund this year… DO NOT BE HAPPY. This isn’t new money you’re getting… It’s money you overpaid to the government and you’re JUST getting it back. That money could’ve been better spent elsewhere. Investing, paying off debts, or making sure you aren’t stressed about barely paying the bills. Obviously it’s nice to get your money back, but try not to spend that money on something useless. People usually do that Here are ways to make sure this doesn’t happen: 1. Adjust your tax withholding: Fill out a form with your employer to make sure they’re not taking too much tax out of your paycheck. 2. Claim all the tax breaks you can: Make sure you’re getting credit for things like student loan interest, mortgage interest, and donations to charity. 3. Save for retirement: Putting money into a retirement account can lower your taxes. 4. Use special accounts for health costs: Money you put into accounts for healthcare costs can lower your taxes too. 5. Think about starting a small business: You might be able to deduct some of the money you spend on your side job. 6. Be smart about your investments: Some investments are better for taxes than others, like bonds or special funds. 7. Plan when to sell investments: Timing when you sell things like stocks can help you pay less in taxes. 8. Keep up with tax changes: Tax rules change, so staying informed can help you find new ways to save money on taxes. The goal is to make sure you’re not giving the government more money than you need to during the year. #taxes #personalfinance #money #taxrefund
Use These Negotiation Tactics To Get Whatever You Want 😈 - Follow @profitplugg for more! - EDIT I meant to say $200 at the end, not $100. That wouldn't happen irl - In this video, I’m demonstrating two strong negotiating tactics that I’ve used many times in my life. Im serious i’ve used these tactics soooo many times. 1. Door in the face Make an ubsurd first request, then follow it up with a smaller second request. The person will be so caught up with the first request, the second one will sound a lot sweeter. Example: ask your mom for $100. When she’s says no, ask for just $10 2. Silent negotiation This I used is yard sales or negotiations all the time. You literally just talk as little as possible. People feel uncomfortable in the silence and will often get nervous. If they’re trying to sell something, their mind will race in the silence and do the negotiating for you. - Have you used these before? Lmk! 👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽 - #negotiation #money #personalfinance #rolex #sales
