We just spent a long weekend at the Hotel Xcaret Mexico and it might be my favorite family friendly resort yet. This place is a true all inclusive, down the all of the activities at the neighboring parks. (If you don’t have kids, they have an adults only property next door.) Here’s some highlights of this property: ✨ADVENTURE PARKS: Xcaret owns many adventure parks and they’re all included in your stay. There’s buses constantly to take you and your entrances are all covered with your stay at the hotel. You can even have a meal at most of those parks free of charge. Some of the things we got to enjoy were zip lining, a ropes course, and an illusions park. ✨AMAZING FOOD: All of the meals and cocktails are included. There’s many restaurants throughout the resort and all the ones we ate at were wonderful. Most you can get seated right away or after a super short wait. The only one with a long wait was Las Cuevas (a steakhouse in a cave) but it’s worth the wait. It was our favorite meal. There are a select few meals that have an additional fee, but we never did them and had 0 complaints. The food and drinks were abundant and excellent. ✨SERVICE: The service was incredible! Truly blown away by the amount of staff at this resort and how attentive they are. ✨ROOM SELECTION: The rooms are gorgeous and spacious. We had a Junior Suite that came with a hot tub on our balcony. Highly recommend this room! ✨SAFETY: We never had to worry about safety or venturing off in Mexico. All of the transportation was included. A luxury coach took us to and from the airport. There’s also buses to take you to the tours and adventure parks. We were always on Xcaret property or in one of their buses. I felt safe at all times. ✨TOURS: There’s several tours also included in your stay. I wish I had time for them. I’m coming back for the tour of Chichen Itza, another one to Tulum and a day on the ocean. ✨NEAREST AIRPORT: The nearest airport is Cancun, which is about an hour from the hotel. Their buses pickup at the airport every half hour so it’s a simple process. Just find the Hotel Xcaret employee outside the airport and they’ll take you over to their buses for transport to the hotel.
