But if all we do today is speak…if all I do is speak then I also miss the mark. We have to do more than just talk about it. We have to act on it and be about it. My hope and prayer is that today be a day that we wouldn’t miss the mark, that we would hear his cries, and her cries, and that we would hear all the boys and girls calling out and we would answer the call. Every single one of the 50,000+ unknown boys and girls are worth us answering the call and doing everything we can so that they can experience the Faith, Hope and Love that they deserve…not the darkness, evil and torture that they’re in right now. Thank you, Lord, for this humbling opportunity. It’s Resurrection Sunday! The good news of the Gospel is that Jesus died for all. Recently I had the privilege to see one of the modern man made wonders of the world, Christ the Redeemer in Brazil. I know it's just a statue but I was reminded that God doesn't turn His back on people. "For God so loved the WORLD that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16). Of all the things Jesus could have died for he died for people! He died for you and me, that's how valuable and loved we are to God. Caption When a young girl or boy has been trafficked or exploited over and over again finally realizes they are valuable, not for their body, but their God-given worth…That is life-changing, that is worth us doing everything we can to get to one more. When I met some of our survivor family members for the first time, I remember being so overwhelmed and frustrated by evil for what they have had to experience. So often, the first person to have sold them or exploit them was mom, dad, or a family member. When this is so often the case, how do you even share about what real love looks like when all they’ve experienced is pain? I believe the only way to fully overcome this is that we do our part to love them, but ultimately they know they are loved by the God of this universe. Even though all these people have done awful things to them, there is a God that loves them so much and has done amazing things for them through the finished work of Jesus on the Cross. At the @timtebowfoundation we are so blessed to have helped build or operate 29 safe homes around the world, with many more in progress. In total, these safe homes have the capacity to care for hundreds of precious survivors of this evil. So grateful to begin our 2024 Night to Shine trip and see some of the amazing ministry TTF is blessed to be a part of and that God makes possible. Our first stop, Tebow Down Guatemala and the grand opening of our FIFTH campus. Tebow Down Guatemala is so special to us as we met Alfredo & Irene Salazar in 2018 when they had one campus in Guatemala City and decided to come alongside us to host Night to Shine for their incredible students and families. Now, together we have been able to expand to five resource centers across the country and serve 450+ families living with special needs with education, therapy, support, resources, and the good news of the Gospel! When I think about giving our time, resources, and skills to Jesus, and how He multiplies it in ways I cant understand, I think of the boy we read about in John 6. When that boy brought his five barley loaves and two fish, do you think he thought he was going to be part of a miracle and one of the greatest moments of all time? Maybe he did, maybe he didn't. But, it's clear he wanted to give what he had to Jesus. Even the disciples were unsure how it would feed all of the people, "One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to him, “There is a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish, but what are they for so many?” John 6:8-10 The Bible doesnt share the back story of the boy, but I believe it's an encouragement to us. We may not think what we can do for Jesus can have impact, we may not think we are enough, or that we are adequately equipped, and we may wish we could give or do more, as maybe the boy did. But, so it goes in God's economy, He is able to do immeasurably more than we can imagine. It's not always about how much we give of ourselves, it’s that we give ourselves to Jesus, for Him to use. #faith #hope #Love #encouragement #motivation

So thankful for the opportunity to visit the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá in Colombia! Thought it was cool when we were told that salt miners commonly prayed near the entrance of the cave, asking God to keep them safe before descending into the darkness. The tunnels where these halite stone crosses were built during mining could even serve as structural supports where miners prayed for courage, strength, and protection on the job. What a great reminder that our God can transform our greatest fears into places of praise and protection! Psalm 139:7-8, 12 “Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there… even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you.” #colombia #godisgood #praise #protection #psalms #travel

God has given us His best, His son and has proved that He can be trusted. We may not understand why certain roads have started or ended, but we can count on His faithfulness. I know this sounds so simple, and yet is so powerful, in theory, but there are times I fail to remember this truth. It’s mind boggling to me. Sometimes we forget that we can trust God because He gave up His best for us.
