This does not replace veterinary care. If a dog is panicked they would need to be sedated at a veterinary practice to attempt this maneuver. If swelling was involved it would need to be cut off by a veterinarian under sedation. I mildly freaked when I saw her outside with this on her jaw and saw dollar signs in a emergency vet visit. I had seen this maneuver done and since Vesper here is not panicked I thought I would try and film the process. Instant relief for both of us and the bone went to the trash.
