The government has warned people to not protest. In direct defiance of Putin, the EU ambassador to Russia placed flowers on the monument in Moscow that remembers those killed by political repression. The police keep removing flowers from the monument but people keep placing more. Across the nation, small groups of people are gathering around monuments dedicated to victims of Stalin and the Soviet Union’s repression. Police are clashing with protesters nearly everywhere as they attempt to block off memorials. Across Europe, protests have broken out and Americans are expected to take to the streets across the country tonight as well. It very much feels like the last bastion of hope for a free Russia died today. If you’re not Russian, Russia will kill you. If you are Russian, Russia will also kill you. It’s a dictatorship of terror only mirrored by Stalin’s regime. One thing is clear though - Putin is terrified of his own people. The sooner Russians realize this, the sooner they will be free.

US Marines Deploy To Haiti #usa #haiti Yesterday US marines deployed to Haiti overnight to airlift U.S. embassy staff out of the country and have joined security forces to reinforce the embassy. Gangs have nearly overrun Haiti’s capital and the government is on the verge of collapse. The government has essentially lost all credibility and power, and now gangs are left to impose their will on the people. The U.S. has ruled out using troops to restore order to the nation like it has in the past, saying that they are enabling and encouraging international partners to resolve it themselves. The U.S. has also called on the prime minister to commit to a transitional government and set up elections. Haiti has been requesting foreign troops for over two years now and only really Kenya has answered the call. The US has agreed to finance the deployment of 1,000 Kenya police officers, including some more from other countries but the plan continues to be delayed. Of the 15,000 Haitian police officers in the country, over 3,000 of them have fled and Human Right advocates have accused them of colluding with gangs. The UN Security Council urged Haiti’s gangs to immediately cease their actions and the US is meeting with Caribbean nations today at an emergency meeting in Jamaica. The country is falling into complete and total anarchy, it’s a catastrophic humanitarian crisis.

The United States Unleashes 85 Airstrikes #usa #america The United States just struck more than 85 Iranian targets with more than 125 missiles. Two B-1 Bombers took off from the United States this morning and flew nonstop to the region to participate in the raid on Iraq and Syria, in addition to numerous other local aircraft including the A-10. They hit the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and their proxy’s command and control center, intel areas, rockets, missiles, UAVs, logistics, munitions, as well as other strategic sites. The Jordanian air force joined the operation and struck several targets too. They say this is in solidarity with the United States. President Biden said “The US doesn’t seek conflict in the Middle East or anywhere else in the world. But let all those who seek to do us harm know this: If you harm an American, we will respond.” He says more airstrikes are coming. Officials say these strikes were aimed at destroying their supply chain. Several militias are reporting that their headquarters have been completely destroyed and some are reporting significant casualties. The White House has communicated that it will not strike inside of Iran, but everything outside of it is fair game. The airstrikes are apparently still ongoing as you hear this. They could continue until the sun rises in Iraq. And like I said - this is just the beginning.

US Takes Gloves Off With Iran And It’s Proxies #usa #america The US has taken the gloves completely off. They hit 36 Houthi targets in Yemen Saturday. This came after the US struck 85 Iranian targets in Syria and Iraq in just 30 minutes. With the White House telling Iran that if they respond directly to US retaliation, they will be given a swift and forceful response. Iran also issued a warning to the US over the potential targeting of their spy ship in the red sea. They claim it’s a cargo ship that combats piracy, but the attacks on shipping certainly do seem to follow it around the Red Sea. Like a bug spray that attracts bugs. The spy ship moved to the coast of a Chinese military base after the first round of retaliation. Russia called for a UN Security Council meeting on the American strikes while Iraq declared three days of mourning for the militants who died in the bombings. Iraq has complained that they weren’t told ahead of time of the strikes. US Forces have since been attacked three more times, including a drone strike in which 6 Kurdish fighters were killed on a US base last night but no Americans were harmed. The Islamic Resistance in Iraq claimed responsibility. The Pentagon says it doesn’t want a full scale war with Iran’s proxies and that it just wants to fight. An awkward situation given that these Iranian proxies also fight them, sometimes in the immediate vicinity of US forces who are also fighting them, but hey that’s the Middle East for ya.

Chinese Citizens Ask For America’s Help #usa #america Chinese citizens are asking America to give them citizenship or to bomb their stock exchange. The Chinese stock market is tanking, hitting a 5 year low and having lost 10% of its value in just the past week. China’s GDP only grew 5.2% last year, the slowest growth in over 30 years. And it’s the first time in nearly 50 years that the US has grown faster than China. Anyways the people are not happy. The US Embassy to China made a post about protecting giraffes in Africa and Chinese users flooded their replies with these pleas that America spare some missiles to bomb the Shanghai stock exchange or to allow Chinese investors to become citizens. Some users called their page the “Wailing Wall” for Chinese economic concerns. Then when the censors shut that down, they moved to the Indian embassy with replies asking them to teach China how to innovate and develop a stock market. China’s state media is scrambling to psyop residents into believing the economy is good with articles, like the one the People’s Daily wrote last week titled “the entire country is filled with optimism” and the people mocked it, with one user saying “the entire giraffe community is filled with optimism” - referring to their antics on the US embassy’s post. China says people are trying to promote false narratives that hurt the Chinese economy but as one user said “people aren’t stupid”

American, Jordanian, and British fighters are intercepting Iranian drones over Syria. With them having shot down over 100 Iranian drones so far. The French Navy has also been deployed now to intercept Iranian attacks. Iran's semi-official news agency says the attack is designed in several stages and each stage will be more intense.

Arizona Bans Abortion With 1864 Law #usa #america Abortions are now banned in Arizona after the Arizona Supreme Court upheld a 160 year old law. The 1864 law made all abortion illegal except those to save a woman’s life. The law was passed before Arizona was even a state. It also criminalizes abortion by making it a felony with two to five years in prison for anyone who performs or helps a woman obtain one. In 2022, Arizona passed a law that banned abortion after 15 weeks - but the Court has ruled that the 160 year old law takes precedent. This law was passed during the Civil War, before women could vote, and before Penicillin was discovered.

With the President adding “Let me say this once and for all, we will not accept deportations from the Texan government”. He also went on to say that Texas’ law is dehumanizing, anti-Christian, and even violates the bible. So in plain language - Mexico is refusing relations with Texas because it’s not a country, so it has no authority or sovereignty. They are not equals, Mexico is a higher entity than Texas. And now a US appeals court has frozen Texas’ law after the Supreme Court declined to block it, adding to the gigantic mess that Texas has created here.

Mexico Condemns Texas #usa #mexico Mexico is rejecting the US Supreme Court and says Texas can go straight to hell. Today the US Supreme Court ruled that Texas could enforce its strict immigration law. This law allows local and state law enforcement to arrest anyone they think is a migrant that is in the state illegally. It then enables judges to send migrants to Mexico regardless of where they're actually from, even if that person has federal permission to be in America. Well Mexico says if you think we’re gonna work with Texas, you’ve lost your mind. With the Mexican government condemning the ruling saying that it will not allow Texas to deport people back to Mexico and that it will not work with Texas and that it doesn’t recognize Texas' fake authority. But they say they’ll continue to work with the American government and only the American government. So now Texas’ whole plan has been shattered and it’s hard to see how they can even carry out this part of the law. Because Mexico is a sovereign nation with legal rights, international authority, and a military… and Texas is not.

Things Are Really Bad For Ukraine #usa #ukraine Things are really bad for Ukraine right now. They are struggling to hold the line against Russia and are facing relentless pressure from all directions. The military is short on ammo, troops, and weapons. And there’s no sign of relief coming as Putin’s assets in the US House keep blocking aid, loans, and sales to Ukraine. Some troops are having to restrict their ammunition use and are often outgunned three to one. Ukraine’s artillery has more or less come to a stop because they can’t get shells for their US supplied Howitzers while its Patriot missile systems are also basically out of ammo. Due to the lack of US air defense missiles, Russia was able to bomb Avdiivka over 600 times last month. In comparison, the city was essentially a no-fly-zone in December. The only thing Ukraine has going for it right now is drones which cover the air so much that Russian soldiers say that the sky practically hums. Some say they have given up diving for cover. Putin says that a ceasefire in Ukraine was vetoed by the United States. But the US says that there are no back channel negotiations with Russia because they won’t engage in talks about Ukraine without Ukraine. Russian sources told Reuters that the Americans didn’t believe that Putin was serious and that they basically told them - if you want a ceasefire, go talk to Ukraine. This has angered Russia who now says they no longer see a point in talking to the US.

Neither country or its athletes will be allowed to take part in the opening ceremony during the parade of nations. The two are also barred from team sports. Only a select few individual athletes will be allowed to participate under a neutral status and they must not have publicly supported the invasion of Ukraine or be affiliated with the military or state security. If they win, they’ll stand in front of a neutral flag with no recognition of Russia or Belarus, – they also won’t be allowed to wear anything symbolizing their nations, – and their medals won’t count towards the ranking of nations either. Russia went ballistic over this, but you’d think they’d be used to it given that they’ve been banned from the last 3 Olympics because they were cheating!

Alexei Navalny Assassinated Today #russia #usa Alexei Navalny was killed today. Russian state media says that he “felt ill” after a walk and then fell to the ground and died. The press release on his death was released 2 minutes after he died. Navalny was Putin's largest domestic critic, he often led nationwide protests against him and corruption. He led an investigation into the lavish lifestyle Russian leaders lived while over 20% of the country still didn’t have indoor plumbing. He was convicted on sham charges to prevent him from running against Putin in 2018. Navalny would return to Russia in 2021 to serve his 30 year sentence in an arctic circle penal colony. He had survived numerous poisoning attempts from Putin throughout the years. The U.S. says “the fear of one man only underscores the weakness and rot at the heart of the system that Putin has built. Russia is responsible for this.” NATO said Russia has serious questions to answer and the EU said that this was a grim reminder of what Putin and regime are all about. The UK says that Russia will be held accountable and in the past, Biden has said there would be devastating consequences if he was to be murdered. Poland said “Alexey, we will never forget you and we’ll never forgive them”. Russia said that the U.S. should show restraint in its response to his death. Navalny’s most famous words were “You’re not allowed to give up. If they decide to kill me, it means that we are incredibly strong.”

He conveniently ignores that two American reporters, Evan and Alsu, have been imprisoned in Russia for reporting for nearly a year now and have been denied a trial. 12 of the 17 foreign journalists jailed in foreign countries worldwide are in Russia, where a total of 22 journalists sit in detention. Russia continues to issue arrest warrants for Russian journalists in other countries. Reporting on Putin and his war is a crime in Russia. Tucker also said that the media is refusing to tell the American people why he’s waging this war. But that’s also not true - American media not only aired Putin’s speech on the night he invaded Ukraine, we also covered it endlessly. Whenever Putin speaks on the war, it’s on the front page of every real news site in America. He said that Americans have no idea what’s actually going on in Russia or Ukraine. But Ukraine and Russia have been on the front page of the New York Times, America’s paper of record, five times just this week. Any American who doesn’t know… just doesn’t care. It’s not being withheld from them. Tucker is getting the chance to conduct this interview because he poses no threat to Putin or his regime, he will simply reaffirm it. After all, this is the same guy who said he’s rooting for Russia. Some European officials are floating sanctions or even a travel ban for Carlson but I would advise them not to. The Chinese and European economies are going through it right now and ever since the Houthis began randomly lobbing missiles - Chinese shipping costs to Europe have tripled and are now rising to pandemic level. Making matters even worse! The Chinese have now started to escort ships through the Red Sea. China initially thumbed its nose at the US when it was asked to help combat the Houthis but now the Chinese are threatening Iran with economic consequences if they don’t get them to stop. And Iran seems to have told them what they tell everyone “we don’t control the Houthis”. US and Middle Eastern officials say that Iran’s ship in the Red sea is giving the Houthis intelligence that allows them to spot and target ships. So Iran claims they don’t control this rabid pitbull, yet they’re giving the pitbull a map of every toddler in the city. They either have more control than they claim or they are the most irresponsible state in the world. This is the first time that the US has directly implicated the ship, initially it was just pointed out that the attacks on shipping followed the ship around. The Houthis are also crashing Egypt’s economy with the Suez Canal’s revenue dropping by 50% last month. And Israel, the target of this, has hardly seen any impact because the vast majority of their shipping goes through the Mediterranean.

Russia wants to place this space based nuclear weapon in orbit to target American satellites. If it were to get deployed, it could destroy all civilian communications, surveillance, military command, and GPS nearly instantly. Washington was sent into a panic yesterday because as the intelligence says - the US doesn’t currently have the ability to counter it or defend its satellites. It could also destroy the concept of “mutually assured destruction”. If the US is unable to detect nuclear launches or even launch its own weapons in response, it could be unable to administer nuclear devastation to its enemies. Officials say that the launch of the weapon doesn’t seem imminent but that there is a limited window of time left to prevent its deployment. Russia would be abandoning the Outer Space treaty which bans all orbital nuclear weapons with this weapon. It’s unclear how the US plans to prevent its deployment. Many members of Congress have said that they have to give more weapons to Ukraine because the stronger Ukraine is the less resources Russia has for its space nukes. The US has reportedly been aware of Russia’s pursuit of this weapon for many months, if not a few years. It wasn’t until recently that the US reached a confident conclusion on what Russia planned to do with it.
