Here are three tips to help you formulate your coppers easier! 1) When your client shows you an inspo pic the first thing you should do is determine what tones you see example - red / copper / gold / violet, etc. Sometimes you will see one tone and sometimes you’ll see two tones! Whatever you see is what you put in your bowl! Ex: copper & gold! 2) The brighter you want your clients hair to be add more additives! Additives are pure pigment that you can add into your formula that will help your Tone direction that you wanna see when you’re finished and the more you out of it the brighter your colour will become! 3) more vibrant = higher level (ex level 7/8/9) The darker the level (ex level 4/5/6) the more pigment you will deposit. The higher the level the less pigment you will deposit. Therefore, if you are wanting a brighter tone using a level seven or eight will work to your benefit!
