It’s perfect for a short getaway and this is everything you need to know to plan your own trip! 🗓️ WHEN TO GO Our trip was the first week of May and had a mix of warm and cool weather. Late May - early June is probably the sweet spot for nice weather and smaller crowds. Overall Milos was WAY less busy than popular islands like Santorini and Mykonos. ⚓️ TRIP LENGTH I think 3-4 days is a good amount of time, but you could stay longer. 🏨 WHERE TO STAY We booked “Vivere a Plakes Milos” on Expedia and it was perfect! (🔗 on my profile in my Expedia Travel Shop). It was in a convenient & quiet location, with a private pool, 2 cozy bedrooms & kitchen. It’s also very reasonably priced (came out to be $85 each per night). Plus, because I am a One Key member I received $32 OneKeyCash just from that one stay 🥳 ☀️ THINGS TO DO ▫️ Best beaches: Fyriplaka Beach, Paleochori Beach (walk around the rocks to the beach below Deepblue Beach Bar), Pachena Beach, Sarakiniko Beach (does get busy) ▫️ Best villages: Mandrakia, Plaka, Pollonia, Klima, Firopotamos ▫️ take a boat tour to secret swimming spots 🍊 PLACES TO EAT ▫️ Sirocco Restaurant ▫️ Rifaki in Pollonia (get the orange cake!) ▫️ O! Hamos! Tavern ▫️ Mikros Apoplous ▫️ Kyra Milos 🇬🇷 MILOS TRAVEL TIPS ▫️ Rent a car for your stay ▫️ Catch the fast ferry from Athens ▫️ You don’t really need cash (euros) but it’s handy to have sometimes ▫️ It’s not required, but leaving a small tip for good service & food is appreciated #milos #greece #itinerary #greekislands #europesummer
