Back to school shopping at Sephora Skincare can and should be fun- there is always a lesson to be learned when we walk into Sephora. As a mom and a former elementary teacher - it’s always a good idea to model good behavior and teach kids how to behave in public settings and engage with public life. I still even see adults who basically suck on the tester lipstick. Please don’t do this- don’t apply testers directly to your skin. My daughter loves Sephora because she sees how much I enjoy the store. She wants to participate and I want her to learn how to do that in an age appropriate way. Did we buy retinol because she saw some YouTuber do her skincare routine with it? No. We know that everyone has different skin goals and concerns. What one person uses does not mean that everyone should. I can only hope that one day when my daughter is old enough to go into stores on her own she can set an example and know right from wrong.
