I'll start by saying WORDS ARE POWERFUL! I strongly dislike when people use hurtful words because words can leave wounds that never heal. There are things that a mom, a dad, or both should never say to their kids, no matter how angry or frustrated they feel—and the same goes for the children. At some point in life, we’ve all faced struggles with our parents, whether it’s a single parent or both. This monologue made me realize just how damaged some people are and how difficult it is for many to maintain healthy relationships with their parents.
