Replying to @Msee how many miles a week should you run when training for a marathon? Everyone is going to be different. Plan on 2-3 60-70 minute mid week runs during training and 1-2 long runs starting around 1 hour 40 minutes and getting up to 3 hours on the weekends. When should you start training for the chicago marathon? Break it into two different goals. Base building for 8 weeks and then marathon training for 16 weeks. 10 years ago I took selfies to make my sister laugh. Luckily the running industry wasn’t very funny and wasn’t talking about crying on street corners so I was able to carve a little niche for myself. I’ve been stalked, “canceled” 3 or 4 times, and had to learn how to not take brand partnerships personally 🥲. But what came out of those silly selfies was a global #badassladygang community and a coaching career that means the world to me. All because my sister made me write a buzzfeed article and the women working at the company I was a receptionist at convinced me to start a blog and helped me navigate the media interviews that week. #RunSelfieRepeat 4 ever. Never forget #hottguysofthenychalf 🤣 with two t’s because spelling was never my strong suit. (Or math. Or geography. I was a theater major 😇)
