Help us welcome our little PAW Patrol beagle puppies to the rescue! Meet Sky, Sweetie, Zuma, and Rocky. They came to us from the Halifax Dog Squad, Inc. after being found abandoned in a dumpster. They have scratched and bitten most of their hair off, are full of sores, and one beagle pup is most likely blind. It is clear they have not had an easy life up to this point, but that all changed today. They are visiting the Dogtor and on their way to their new pampered TBR lives. Eight beagles were saved today! Our friends at Craven County took in 50 dogs from a puppy mill situation and reached out to us, desperate for help with the beagles. Our foster families stepped up, made room in their homes, and today we welcomed eight new beagles into the rescue: four puppy mill beagles, two additional beagles who were brought to Craven County the same day as the puppy mill dogs, and two dogs from Edgecombe County—one with a large hernia that needs medical attention. Meet Buster, Bubbles, Blossom, and Buttercup (the puppy mill dogs), Byrd, Brody, Bud, and Butterfly. All of the dogs need to be fully vetted. Butterfly needs her hernia repaired, and sadly, all of the Craven County dogs are heartworm positive and will need to undergo treatment.
