Unique self-care activity in NYC: go to a viral scalp spa. @Blissful headspace spa invited me in to try their 60-minute Signature Scalp Treatment and Massage and it was unlike any other spa treatment I’ve ever had! 🧖🏻‍♀️ You spend a full hour getting your scalp and neck and shoulders massaged, your hair washed, and having different scalp treatments done. It’s very relaxing!! 💆🏻‍♀️ They also blow dry your hair, although it’s not a blowout and style. It was more of a rough dry, so since I have frizzy hair, I put my hair up after the treatment. 🫧 If you’re like me and you love getting your hair washed and your head massaged at the salon, this is for you. Because at the salon, you may get it for a minute or two. Passes start at $60 for this stunning underground spa in NYC. Once you’re in for the day, you can stay as long as you want. 🖤 @BATHHOUSE | NYC invited me to check out their new Bathhouse Flatiron space early one morning before they open to the public. I also got a complimentary massage. 🤍 The space is very modern and so soothing. It’s the perfect place to unplug without your phone (I went before they opened with special permission to film this video). 💧 Bathhouse Flatiron is a 35,000 square foot spa packed with amenities including six thermal pools (2 hot pools: 2 cold plunges, 1 neutral/tepid pool and 1 salt pool). There are also three saunas and a steam room. It is such a great place to unwind and de-stress. 🧖🏻‍♀️ You can also book treatments stsrting at $125 (which includes a day pass) . I had a 50-minute massage ($185), which felt very personalized and really helped my sore back. 🍵 They also have a cafe where you can order breakfast and lunch including lattes, hummus toast, frittatas, salads and more. 💵 Passes are $60-95, depending on time of day and whether it is a weekend. 🫶🏻 With day passes starting at $60 for their weekday Early Bird and their Night Owl rate, I think this is so worth it.
