Dreadlock makeover thanks to the amazingly talented dreadlock goddess named Heather behind @ dalydreads (instagram) 💙🌺🌿 I genuinely am blown away by these dreadlock extensions and how beautiful and well made they are! ✨ No one really tells you when you first start your dread journey that it really is a commitment.. (of course you know that undoing them would be hard) but how watching them grow and change over the years can be very difficult but soooo freaking rewarding that it’s worth it. No one tells you that you’ll go through love and hate phases, that you can’t do all the cute hair styles all the other girls do, that your dog will lay on top of them and when you go to get up you’re yeeted back down, and you can’t use the bathroom without flipping all your hair to one side or they’ll dunk in the toilet😅 Having dreadlocks means completely letting go of control. I have been unhappy with my dreads for some time. Really just because I did most myself and wanted quantity over quality when I first did them. I watched my thicker dreads grow past my belly button while my thin ones looked like damn ramen noodles!! It’s crazy knowing that so many people have used my hair as their inspiration photo, yet I’m at home crying in the mirror bc of my noodle hair. I knew I wanted to change what I could and I struggled with them for so long. (Having SHIT made extensions didn’t help) So brushed a few out and combined a few together and with the amazing dreads by @ dalydreads (ig) I was able to make my dreadlock dreams come true 💕✨ Words cannot express how happy I am.. how happy that I finally feel with my hair. I never imagined they would be thick, long and beautiful with these INCREDIBLE luxurious Rapunzel Loc™️ ends🩵 my dread girls at Dreadlox Studio will be so happy they don’t have to hear me complain over my dreads anymore 😅 This woman is a fucking WIZARD & if you’re struggling on your journey, or looking to start your journey I highly recommend visiting heather or buying her Rapunzel Loc™️ ends💕 I cried after I put these in. No matter how my journey has gone, I’ll forever love the journey I’ve been on, and wouldn’t change it.
