He was lame when he was in Holland. He came to the UK to be sold. Was sold multiple times. Was abused so severely, he never trusted vets or farriers again. It took him years to warm up to my dad. He was drugged by the dealer I got him from. And drugged again behind my back. His issues showed up, and it took us years to find the answer. We tried all kinds of treatments, but there wasn’t a price I wouldn’t pay, or a distance I wouldn’t go to to keep him comfortable and try and save him. He went from my show jumper, to my best friend. He knew loads of tricks, loved to play games. He knew me more than anyone. He saved my life, taught me life lessons, loved me more than anyone ever has, or ever could. He is my heart and soul. He died on June 1st 2021.
