The 2 minute microwave breakfast I'm currently in LOVE with 🤌🏼 I have been seeing the "lazy girl pancake" or "microwave pancake bowl" everywhere so I tried it for myself and now It's one of my favourite quick and easy breakfasts! You will need 👇🏼 🥞A serving of your favourite pancake mix ( I used 100g of protein pancake mix) 🥛Enough milk to create a medium thick batter (I used ~120ml of almond milk but experiment with what works best for your pancake mix) 🥄2 heaped Tbsp Yoghurt 🖐️ A handful of raspberries 🍯A drizzle of peanut butter and syrup! HOW TO👇🏼 - To a microwave safe bowl, add in the pancake mix and milk. Mix with a fork, until a smooth medium thickness batter has formed* - Microwave for 1.5 - 2 mins (depending on your microwave!) - Top with yoghurt, berries, peanut butter and syrup - ENJOY... and tag me if you share, I'd love to see your creations! * you could also mix berries or choc chips into the batter to switch up the flavour 😁🫂💙See you next Monday for another recipe! #proteinpancake #breakfastinspo #mealprep #foodfreedom #easyrecipeideas #recipes #pancakebowl #microwavemeals #healthyrecipes

When did it change for you???? 🤔 Have you ever thought that you must "earn" food through exercise or restriction? I know I have.   🔥 So many people feel the need to go the gym to "burn off" the calories from a meal, viewing food consumption as a transaction that requires compensation. However, this mindset often leads to a harmful attitude towards food AND our bodies, ultimately leading to unhealthy behaviors and negative relationship with food and fitness. 💭 I think it's time to challenge this damaging mindset and create a positive relationship with food and fitness, which is what I try and show on this lil instagram, page <3. 🫂Let's shift our focus from punishment to nourishment. 🫐Let's embrace a balanced approach to eating, knowing that all foods are ok! 🤸🏻‍♂️Let's prioritise our physical health YES but not because we are letting our minds bully our bodies! 🩵Let's understand that one meal does NOT define you as a person REMEMBER: - Exercise shouldn't be a punishment: associating food consumption with the need to "burn it off" in the gym = a negative relationship with exercise. Exercise should be viewed as a way of improving strength, flexibility, cardiovascular health, overall well-being, mental health! NOT as a punishment for enjoying a meal 🍝🥪🥑🍌 - Find your version of a "healthy balance": having an "earn and burn" mentality towards food can lead to restrictive eating patterns and feelings of guilt. However, a balanced approach to nutrition focuses on moderation and flexibility! There is no going "off track".  By eating a variety of foods in your diet, you can nourish your body while still enjoying the foods you love, without feeling the need to "pay" for them 🥯🍉🍒🍕 FOOD IS NOT A PENALTY CHARGE!!! Before you beat yourself about not eating “perfectly” today or this week. Let me remind you of what “normal eating” has been described as 👇🏼 💚Normal eating is giving yourself permission to eat sometimes because you are happy, sad or bored, or just because it feels good. 🍴Normal eating is going to the table hungry and eating until you are satisfied. It is being able to choose food you like and eat it and truly get enough of it -not just stop eating because you think you should. 🍪Normal eating is mostly three meals a day, or four or five, or it can be choosing to munch along the way.
