There needs to be some serious education reform to start including Native American history and culture in American history. Native American and indigenous people have many different diverse and Rich cultures histories and heritage- each distinct. this means we all have different names that we call ourselves whether it’s our tribal name or nation name or territory name or a federally recognized name. Native Americans are not allowed to wear our hair and often times not allowed to wear our clothing even though other groups are allowed. Are traditional items hold the same value as a head scarf or a yarmulke- same as our hair .
