Millie Bobby Brown decided to go makeup free on TV in a recent interview! The 20-year-old has a completely bare face with a lilac pimple patch on her cheek, to match her lilac sweater. One fan commented: “I love that she’s not wearing any makeup. She’s beautiful without it!” Another added: “The fact that she’s wearing no make-up is so wonderful. Gen Z is really working hard to untangle the patriarchy.” But she’s not just showing fans that she’s comfortable in her own skin, as Millie is undeniably a smart businesswoman. The pimple patch on her cheek is in fact a product from her very own beauty line, Florence By Mills, and is available in three different shapes: butterflies, dolphins and clouds. Despite this natural glowing TV appearance, Millie still loves to get glam, recently appearing on the cover of a huge magazine. Millie has been criticised over her style and choices since she stepped into the limelight as a child - she shares her reflections on this in her recent interview with Glamour. #milliebobbybrown #makeup #entertainment #acne #pimple #skincare #strangerthings

Baby Reindeer star @Nava Mau felt ‘responsibility’ playing Richard Gadd’s real-life trans partner. Nava Mau, the breakout star of chilling new Netflix mini-series Baby Reindeer, has reflected on the responsibility she felt playing a real-life trans person. Trans actress Mau plays Teri, an American therapist, in Richard Gadd’s critically acclaimed drama based on his real experience of being physically and virtually stalked by a mentally ill woman. Gadd stars as Donny, a floundering comedian who offers a crying woman a cup of tea in the London pub where he works. It proves to be a mistake of epic proportions when she becomes obsessed with becoming his lover. However, Donny is already in love with someone else: Teri. Since the series premiered on Netflix last week, Gadd has confirmed that Teri is based on a real trans woman he was seeing at the time, explaining that she “was the voice of reason in my life at that point”, although he never “listened to her as much as [he] should have”. , Mau has now shared her thoughts on the pressure that came with portraying a woman who was really in Gadd’s life. “When I read [the script], I could tell that Richard really loved her, whoever inspired this character,” she said. “I knew that it was based on real life and it seemed really important to show people that trans women exist in real life and in relationships with real people. I could see Richard’s heart in the writing and I hope that people will see it too. “I felt a great sense of responsibility, and I cared a lot about telling the story in the best way possible.” Generation, has previously praised Gadd for writing such an authentic script. “It felt like an honour to even get to read the script, because of Richard’s vulnerability. There’s a light that I think pulsates out of that kind of vulnerability, and all the characters are cast in that light,” she told Netflix’s fan event Tudum. “I felt that in [the] first read of Teri.” Baby Reindeer currently has an 88 per cent approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and has been widely praised for its raw depictions of sexual abuse, mental illness, the devastating impact of stalking, and the nuances of the trans experience. In the seven-episode series, Donny is initially ashamed to be dating a transgender woman, keeping his name and occupation a secret from her, all while Teri is subjected to violent abuse at the hands of Martha. However, the series also shows that trans people do find love, and do go about life in the same way as every other person. Baby Reindeer is currently streaming on Netflix. #babyreindeer #netflix #richardgadd #stalking #tvtok #navamau #trans

RuPaul’s Drag Race’s only two-time winner and upcoming star of Doctor Who Jinkx Monsoon has revealed that she’s changed her personal name as she continues on her gender journey. In a post on X/Twitter, the 36-year-old drag performer and Broadway star revealed that her “chosen name” is now Hera Hoffer, but assured fans that she would always publicly be known as Jinkx Monsoon. Hera, which is the name of an Ancient Greek goddess, is also the name of Jinkx’s “bewitching” new perfume. Jinkx’s revelation comes just a few weeks after the actress shared that she had undergone # Facial Feminisation Surgery (FFS), a procedure that some trans and non-binary people undertake to change the shape of their face in order to make it appear more feminine. In a post on social media, she shared several photos of her recovery after undergoing FFS, writing: “Last year, while on tour, a trans elder told me: ‘Jinkx, it’s never too late.’ She was right. “But let me say, ‘it’s never too late’ means the world to someone still figuring out their path. Also, ‘it’s never too late’ means something different for all of us,” she added. After sharing the news with her fans in March, she opened up further to Cosmopolitan about how she currently understands her identity. “What’s changing for me is my life out of drag. I removed all the rules and parameters I had placed on myself,” she shared, adding that as someone who identifies as a “trans feminine non-binary person,” she had felt the need to present androgynously. “I never allowed myself to wear dresses out of drag in public because I thought it would attract the wrong kind of attention. Sometime at the end of last year, I decided I was done,” she explained. “I lifted all those rules and took a step forward. I booked my FFS, I reached out about HRT, and every day, I just feel like I’m taking strides toward the person I always saw myself becoming.” After sharing her new, personal name with the world, the three-time Queerty award winner was inundated with support from fans online. “Congrats on your chosen name and I appreciate you sharing so much with the public. It fills me with happiness to see you choose yourself and choose joy. You’re glowing,” wrote one fan. “I’m so happy for you!! Hera suits you very well. Love you, Jinkx,” another added. RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 6 winner and trans icon Kylie Sonique Love simply wrote: “So beautiful.” From today (2 April), Jinkx Monsoon will star as Audrey in the Off-Broadway production of A Little Shop of Horrors. In June, she will briefly reprise her role as Matron “Mama” Morton in the Broadway version of Chicago, following her pioneering turn in the show last year. She will also star in Ncuti Gatwa’s upcoming season of Doctor Who this May. #jinkxmonsoon #rupaulsdragrace #chosenname #trans #nonbinary #lgbtq

Hunter Schafer has a special item in her toolkit that proves why she’s a trans icon. In a recent interview with GQ, the star shared the things she can’t live without. Alongside her plushies, watercolors, and Polaroid camera, Hunter showed off a unique item - a tuck kit. Hunter praised the product, revealing she always has them to hand. The actress continued, speaking candidly about how important these products are for the trans community, revealing she often had to improvise when tucking kits weren’t available. Fans applauded the star for speaking so openly about the product, with one saying: “Absolutely love her confidence to talk about this and the natural way in which she does it!” Pride in Practice states that: ‘For many people, tucking is immensely helpful in relieving gender dysphoria and allowing them to wear clothing that affirms their gender.’ ‘First, the testicles are gently pushed up into the inguinal canal. The scrotum and penis are then pulled backward and secured between the buttocks.’ But the group warns that it can be physically uncomfortable and isn’t without risk: ‘Prolonged tucking can result in testicular discomfort and pain, including the possibility of testicular torsion. Chafing and skin irritation are common among people who tuck, especially those using tape.’ #hunterschafer #tucking #transwomen #trans #lgbtq

Music manager Louis Walsh mentored pop twins Jedward on The X Factor back in 2009, but after Walsh called the pair “vile” on Celebrity Big Brother this week, the Irish singers have hit back. On last night’s (March 12) episode of the ITV’s Celebrity Big Brother, which features Heartstopper‘s Bradley Riches and David Potts alongside Walsh and Sharon Osbourne, a housemate asked Walsh what it was like working with Jedward. “They were vile,” Walsh replied. “But they were great. I got five million quid for them, I swear on my mother’s life.” He continued: “But they were vile. But they were novelty, it was great for the show, and it was all about the show.” Jedward have not taken the comments lying down, taking to X (formerly Twitter) to hit back at Walsh just moments after the comments aired. “Louis Walsh is a cold hearted b*****d who didn’t even send us flowers when our mom died,” they wrote in their first tweet on the matter, referencing the passing of their mother in 2019. They added: “What an absolute weirdo with bad intentions for all ..does he like anyone?” “Louis reopened these wounds all by himself being spiteful and disrespectful,” Jedward continued. “We aren’t going to have our character taken. Justice will be served.” A representative for Louis Walsh declined to comment when approached by PinkNews. Jedward continued their retaliation to Louis Walsh’s comments via video message posted to Instagram, recorded, somewhat puzzlingly, by The Only Way is Essex star Gemma Collins. The video, which was posted to the GC’s Instagram Stories function and is set to expire shortly, started with Collins saying, “Louis, don’t be slagging off my boys. They’re not vile, they’re beautiful in every single way.” With the camera then pointed to the twins, they said: “I can’t believe we’re even watching you on the show, you’re like a cat with nine lives. How many times can you slag off your acts? It’s a disgrace.” Collins later wrote in a separate Instagram post that she was “shocked” to hear Walsh’s comments: “They are the sweetest talented [sic] polite educated kind boys I’ve ever met hence why they are always in my company.” Celebrity Big Brother continues on ITV1 and ITVX at 9pm, Sunday to Friday. #jedward #louiswalsh #xfactor #celebritybigbrother #cbbuk #gemmacollins #lgbtq

It’s 2024, and Louis Tomlinson has once again addressed those Harry Styles “Larry” relationship rumours. If you aren’t exactly versed in the 2010s “Larry” saga, as the fandom endearingly dubbed the One Direction bandmates, the ongoing rumours about the pair being in a relationship came to a head in 2016. At the time, Tomlinson resorted to blocking Instagram comments using the “ship name” to suggest that he was in a relationship with Styles. We’re all for a queer-coded romance, but some “Larry” devotees took the obsession to extremes, creating tribute videos, artworks, and fanfiction featuring the pair as a gay couple. Fans even managed to get around the ban by using variants of the name, including “Larrry” and “Lerry”. If nothing else, we have to applaud fans for their creativity. And it seems that time doesn’t change a thing, as eight years later, the “Just Hold On” singer is still having to address the same rumours. Speaking to Brazillian magazine G1, “Back to You” hitmaker Louis Tomlinson said “there’s nothing I can say or do” to put a stop to those “Larry” rumours. He said, as per a translation: “I realised this so many years ago, there’s nothing I can say or do to dispel the believers of that conspiracy. They are so intertwined with what they believe to be the truth now that they won’t actually see the truth for what it is. “It does irritate me a little bit but it’s just kind of nature of the job I suppose.” It’s not the first time he’s had to speak out surrounding the rumours, previously telling The Sun that the rumours were “disrespectful” to his girlfriend at the time. He said in the since-deleted video interview: “I’ve never actually been asked about it directly. It’s a funny thing. It kind of happened naturally for me and Harry because a certain amount of the fans drew up this conspiracy. When it first came around I was with Eleanor, and it actually felt a little bit disrespectful to Eleanor, who is my girlfriend now. “I’m so protective over things like that, about the people I love. So it created this atmosphere between the two of us where everyone was looking into everything we did. It took away the vibe you get off anyone. It made everything a little bit more unapproachable. “I think [what’s happened since] shows that it was never anything ‘real’ if I can use that word.” #louistomlinson #harrystyles #larry #lgbtq #one direction

RuPaul’s Drag Race legend and upcoming Doctor Who star Jinkx Monsoon has spoken about the “affirming and wonderful” experience of undergoing medical transition while starring as a woman in Little Shop of Horrors. The 36-year-old actor is currently starring as leading lady Audrey in the Off-Broadway musical revival of Little Shop of Horrors, alongside High School Musical’s Corbin Bleu as Seymour. At the same time, Jinkx, who identifies as trans-femme, is currently undergoing her medical transition. She recently shared that she underwent Facial Feminisation Surgery (FFS) earlier this year, and has changed her personal name to Hera Hoffer. In a new interview with Autostraddle, the star of stage and screen explained that she was “anxious” about entering a new phase of her career at the same time as stepping into her authentic self in her personal life. “There’s a lot of things changing in my life and in flux and in metamorphosis right now personally and with my career. But it’s all working out in a way that makes sense and I’m in a really content place,” she explained. In addition to her stint in Little Shop of Horrors, Jinkx made Broadway history last year after becoming the first drag artist to take on the role of Matron “Mama” Morton in Chicago, a role she will reprise in June for a limited run. She will also star as the campest villain in the Whoniverse in the upcoming new season of Doctor Who, led by queer Sex Education actor Ncuti Gatwa. It’s also been less than two years since she became the first ever Drag Race contestant to win the show twice, first in 2013’s season five, and then 2022’s All Stars 7. Jinkx described medically transitioning and taking estrogen while completing her current theatre role as a “really special thing”, considering Audrey’s song “Suddenly, Seymour” includes the lyric: “I can learn how to be more, the girl that’s inside me.” “It’s this wonderful moment of coalescence and serendipity and timing. I never imagined I’d be transitioning while playing Audrey in Little Shop, I never imagined – I didn’t even know any of that was possible for me,” she explained. “Now it’s all happening at the same time. And instead of feeling overwhelming, it feels really affirming and wonderful, because I’m just as much an actor as I am a transfeminine person. Actor feels like part of my gender identity.” Some queer fans of the Little Shop of Horrors film and musical have long seen Audrey as trans-coded, with some suggesting that the way she is portrayed “fits the stereotypes of trans femininity”. In 2019, trans Pose actress Michaela Jaé Rodriguez was critically acclaimed for her take on the role at California’s Pasadena Playhouse. However, Audrey is not canonically a trans woman, and Jinkx Monsoon stressed that she is “not intending to play Audrey as a trans woman”. “I’m just trying to play Audrey,” she explained, but she added that it would be “totally plausible” to view her as trans. “A trans woman in the 1960s would likely be living on Skid Row where she’s an outcast of society. So I use my life experiences and that knowledge to inform this character, but at the end of the day I’m not thinking about Audrey’s genitals,” she added. “I’m thinking about who the character is and how she fits into this story. That’s what I’m playing. I’m bringing my life experiences but I’m playing Audrey the character.” Jinkx Monsoon stars as Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors at the Westside Theatre in New York until 26 May. #rupaulsdragrace #jinkxmonsoon #littleshopofhorrors #broadway #audreylittleshopofhorrors #trans @Jinkx Monsoon

Heartstopper star Bradley Riches has announced his engagement to his partner, theatre director Scott Johnston. In a moving post on social media, the 22-year-old actor and Celebrity Big Brother star revealed that Johnston proposed to him earlier this week while the pair were in Sorrento, Italy. Riches shared a series of photos of the pair hugging and kissing while standing in a heart shape made of rose petals, overlooking the Italian coastline. “Erm…YES,” Riches wrote, alongside a heart emoji. “I never thought I’d find someone who gets me and loves me for me. I have always struggled connecting my emotions in relationships and then @scottjohnston1.8 came. I felt safe and accepted and most importantly loved,” he wrote in the adorable post. “I love you endlessly,” he added, as he flashed an impressive silver ring on his index finger. As Oscar Wilde once said, life really does imitate art, as Riches’ gorgeous engagement looks like it was stripped directly from the pages of Alice Oseman’s Heartstopper comics. Riches starred in season two of the Heartstopper series on Netflix, as James McEwan – a gay student who crushes on Isaac Henderson (Toby Donovan). Unlike Toby and James’ fleeting romance, Riches and Johnston appear to be in it for the long haul. In a separate video posted on TikTok, Riches shared that Johnston flew him to Sorrento and asked him to dress in all white, immediately leaving him suspicious. A slew of Riches’ celebrity friends have congratulated the sweet couple, including Celebrity Big Brother host and mother to the LGBTQ+ community, AJ Odudu, and Drag Race UK contestant Vanity Milan. “OH MY GODDDDDDDDD AHHH CONGRATULATIONS BABY,” wrote David Potts, who won Riches’ series of Celebrity Big Brother back in March. Riches’ Heartstopper co-stars Corrina Brown, Bel Priestley, and Jack Barton also shared their good wishes. Riches entered the Celebrity Big Brother house at the beginning of March, and swiftly became a fan favourite – before eventually being evicted in sixth place. During his time in the house, he spoke openly about his experience with autism, and was praised for bringing authentic, queer and neurodivergent representation to the UK’s TV screens. #bradleyriches #heartstopper #engagement #gaycouples🏳️‍🌈 #lgbtq

Rightwingers have blamed the collapsed bridge in Baltimore on the fact that the Transportation Secretary is gay. On Tuesday 26 March, the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, Maryland collapsed after it was hit by a 100 tonne cargo ship. Footage shows the ship hitting a column supporting the 1.6 mile long bridge causing it to collapse within seconds and burst into flames. Six people who were plunged into the river when it collapsed are presumed dead. Two people were rescued early in the day. Authorities believe all eight people were part of the construction crew working on the bridge. Maryland’s Governor said that the bridge was “up to code”, and Joe Biden has said the federal government will pay to rebuild the bridge. But conservatives have already jumped on the bandwagon of blaming the left, and specifically the Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, who is gay. One popular conservative X account tweeted a picture of Buttigieg claiming he would “address the Baltimore Bridge collapse as soon as he’s done chestfeeding”, a phrase that transmasculine people often use to describe feeding their children. Rightwingers have been saying for years that Buttigieg chest or breastfeeds his children as a homophobic joke. Even the shamed former congress member George Santos jumped on the bandwagon, tweeting that he was “revoking Pete’s gay card” in reference to a video of the Transportation Secretary speaking about how road projects have historically divided communities of colour. The video from 2021 has been circulated widely by conservatives since the incident, despite the fact that Buttigieg makes no reference to the bridge in Baltimore. The Transportation Secretary has not risen to the homophobic and baseless claims made against him. Instead, he took to X to share messages of support for first responders at the scene and to announce that the Biden administration will do “whatever it takes, at every step, to help the people of Baltimore heal and rebuild”. #baltimore #baltimorebridge #francisscottkeybridge #uspolitics #usnews #lgbtq

Happy 36th Birthday to Jonathan Bailey! Here are 13 things you didnt’t know about the actor. Bridgerton star Jonathan Bailey has also been confirmed for a role in Heartstopper‘s third season, alongside Hayley Atwell and Eddie Marsan. With the snowball effect of the #Netflix phenomenon Heartstopper showing no signs of slowing down following the series’ second outing, the rumour mill has been in overdrive in recent weeks, with whispers that one Jonathan Bailey would be appearing in the third instalment of the coming-of-age drama. The upcoming series will continue to follow Joe Locke and Kit Connor as schoolboys Charlie Spring and Nick Nelson as they navigate their feelings for each other, take their relationship to the next level, and endure the trials and tribulations of growing up. Yet last month, fans became convinced that Bailey would be making an appearance alongside the pair, as academic (and Charlie’s celeb crush) Jack Maddox. Today (25 April), those rumours have proved true; Bailey will be joining Heartstopperseason three alongside Marvel and Mission Impossible actress Hayley Atwell and Back To Black star Eddie Marsan. In a statement via press release, Alice Oseman – who wrote the graphic novels that Heartstopper is based on – said: “I am incredibly excited to be welcoming three new cast members to the Heartstopper family. “Hayley Atwell joins the Nelson family as Nick’s Aunt Diane, who takes Nick on a summer holiday to Menorca and has some tough advice to impart about his relationship. “Eddie Marsan will be portraying a beloved character from the graphic novels: Geoff, Charlie’s wise and straight-talking therapist. And lastly, Jonathan Bailey will be making a cameo appearance as Jack Maddox [in season three of Hearstopper], an Instagram-famous classicist and celebrity crush of Charlie.” She added: “It was an absolute joy to see Hayley, Eddie, and Jonathan’s talent alongside our existing cast, and I can’t wait for the Heartstopper fans to meet these new characters.” A brief clip ofJonathan Bailey in Hearstopper has also been posted to Netflix’s socials; the heartthrob can be seen in character at a press event for his book. Heartstopper season three currently has a release date of October, 2024 – but the upcoming season has already undergone some pretty big casting changes. Most notably, Olivia Colman will not be returning as Nick’s mother due to scheduling issues. “I couldn’t do number three. I couldn’t fit it in. I feel awful about that,” she explained at the time. “I feel like I was part of one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever been part of.” The upcoming season, which will feature returning cast members Yasmin Finney and Bradley Riches among others, has this official synopsis: “Charlie would like to tell Nick that he loves him. Nick also has something important to say to Charlie. As the summer holiday ends and the months race on, the friends begin to realise that the school year will come with both its joys and its challenges. “As they learn more about each other and their relationships, plan social events and parties and start thinking about university choices, everyone must learn to lean on those they love when life doesn’t go to plan.” Heartstopper season three will be released in October, 2024, on Netflix. #jonathanbailey #bridgerton #anthonybridgerton #heartstopper #gay #lgbtq

Richard Gadd, who wrote the show based on his own personal experience of being stalked, posted a message to his Instagram story last night asking fans not to speculate around the identity of any of the real life characters in the show. He said: “People I love, have worked with, and admire (including Sean Foley) are unfairly getting caught up in speculation. Please don’t speculate on who any of the real life people could be. That’s not the point of the show”. Sean Foley is a British director, writer, comedian and actor who fans have wrongly speculated to be the real life version ‘Darrien’, the character who grooms and sexually assaults Donny in the series. On April 23, Foley took to X to say that the “Police have been informed and are investigating all defamatory abusive and threatening posts against me”. Similar fan speculations have been made about the character of Martha Scott, who stalks Gadd’s character in the show. Richard Gadd has been launched into the spotlight by the success of Baby Reindeer, but what else do we know about the actor? The 34 year old Scottish writer, actor and comedian made a name for himself in 2016 with his Edinburgh Fringe festival show Monkey See Monkey Do. In the show, which went on to win the prestigious Edinburgh Comedy Award, Gadd discussed being a sexual assault survivor, mental health and gay shame. But he is most known for Baby Reindeer, which also premiered as a one-man show at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2019. The play won the prestigious Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement in Affiliate Theatre and has now become the basis of a seven-episode Netflix drama. In the show, Gadd’s character Donny falls in love with a trans woman Teri, played by Nava Mau. Gadd has since shared that Teri is based on a real trans woman he was seeing at the time. Gadd identifies as bisexual, but has said that his sexuality is still a journey. He told Attitude: “I feel like I’m constantly in a state of flux with my sexuality. “Some days I feel a certain way and other days I feel other ways. But every time I land on one, my brain flies off to the other. It’s almost like a restlessness. But maybe that’s what bisexuality is.” Richard Gadd is currently working on a new project for the BBC called Lions, which follows the relationship between two brothers across several decades. #babyreindeer #richardgadd #marthascott #netflix #tvtok #lgbtq #stalking

Brittney Griner and her wife Cherelle Griner announced on Instagram that they’re expecting a baby this summer, and everyone’s over the moon for them. “Can’t believe we’re less than three months away from meeting our favorite human being,” they wrote in a joint post images of an ultrasound and the Griners’ clasped hands, which has been liked almost 70,000 times so far. This will be the couple’s first baby together – Brittney Griner has two children with her former partner. Basketball player Brittney also had cause to celebrate in February, when she was honoured by Baylor University, Texas, where she graduated from in 2013. The faculty retired her No. 42 jersey on 18 February at a pregame ceremony on campus to honour her sporting legacy — one of the highest honours for an athlete, usually reserved after a player has left the team, retires from the sport, or dies. Brittney Griner marks the seventh Baylor women’s basketball player to have their jersey retired. The WNBA star was famously held for 10 months in Russia after being arrested in February 2022 and sentenced to nine years on drug charges. Her wife Cherelle lobbied tirelessly on her behalf to help get her freed, and Brittney was eventually released from a Russian penal colony and returned to the US after a prisoner exchange in December 2022. Cherelle was previously a teacher and is now an attorney: she officially passed her bar exam in April 2023. After her release, Brittney Griner released a heartfelt statement on Instagram, thanking fans for their support. “The last 10 months have been a battle at every turn. I dug deep to keep my faith and it was the love from so many of you that helped keep me going. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone for your help,” she wrote at the time. They certainly both deserve some good news after that ordeal. Congratulations to the very happy couple. #wlw #lesbiansoftiktok #brittneygriner #basketball #womeninbasketball #WNBA
