CHOP CHOP ✂️ please get donating!!! Over the last few months I have been working closely with @LittleLadyLocks charity. In this time I have met some incredibly brave and inspiring girls and have seen first hand the lengths Ashley (the founder) goes to for them, helping regain their confidence after hair loss. I have seen how much these wigs have made a positive impact on their lives, and have since made it my mission to help as many girls as I can. So a coupke of days ago I decided to cut all my hair off- to create a wig for a little girl who needs it. I’m determined to spread awareness of this beautiful charity and hope you all see my dedication to this cause. But it is not as simple as cutting off my hair. It costs the charity £500 to pay the wig makers to turn my hair into a wig!!! That’s why this charity desperately needs our help. It broke my heart when Ashley told me she was close to shutting down because they just don’t have the money or support. Let’s get the funds to get all the referrals seen to this month so the girls don’t have to wait any longer to feel like themselves again. Please help me spread the word🙏🏼 I also ran the manchester marathon and showcased my new look which everyone seemed to like! Please support me guys with whatever you can, there are now 30 girls on that waiting list who currently really need our help. This is Ella ❤️ Ella is 14 years old, and was diagnosed with Leukaemia in December last year. She is a little ball of energy and always has the biggest smile on her face! I was so honoured to help Ella at her new wig fitting at @littleladylocks, she was sooo excited as you can see 🥹. Seeing her reaction to herself in the mirror I tried so hard to hold back my tears, you could really see how much it meant to her to have her old self back. One wig just like the one Ella recieved costs the little lady locks charity £500 to get professionally made and with 21 referrals this month alone the charity just doesn’t have the funds. I will be running the @manchestermarathon this Sunday in hope to raise £15k (now) for @littleladylocks, which is the equivalent to 30 wigs, which is 30 girls just like Ella! TW: Childhood cancer and hairloss I would like to introduce you all to my new project/fundraiser. As may know I went through a series of traumatic events that resulted in me developing alopecia areata, a disease where the immune system attacks hair follicles leading to hair loss. Through talking about this and sharing my experience I came across a charity in the UK called Little Lady Locks. Little Lady Locks create custom, high quality, hand made wigs to boost confidence and the mental wellbeing of children facing hair loss due to conditions such as alopecia, but also for those suffering hair loss due to treatment such as chemotherapy. All FREE of charge. They aim to make each child feel seen, accepted, and beautiful just as they are. Restoring confidence, easing worries, and letting kids be kids. It broke my heart to hear that Ashley the founder was close to giving up the charity as she works her own job full time and runs the charity all other hours to help these children.  Times got tough when she needed to triple their income to keep up with the demand of new referrals and she genuinely thought that the charity would collapse. Each wig costs the charity £500 to be made and honestly, every month the referrals are getting higher and higher, and that’s where we need YOU… This is why I have set a goal of £10,000k, in hope to raise this to support these children and also raise awareness for an amazing cause. So to kick off this fundraiser, I will be running the Manchester Marathon on Sunday, April 14th; guys, this is a challenge for me, but one I am so excited for because I know I'm not doing it to just test myself, but as one way to raise money and awareness for something that I truly care about. With you’re help we can do so much for these children, even the smallest amounts!
