Heres my take on this viral potato recipe. Smashed Potato Salad (serves 4) 600g maris piper potatoes peeled and quartered ½ tsp. dried chilli flakes 1 tsp. ground cumin 1 tsp. turmeric 1 tsp. onion granules 1 tsp. garlic granules 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. mustard seeds 3 tbsp. mayonnaise 1 tsp. wholegrain mustard ½ cucumber deseeded and diced ½ red onion diced 2 tbsp. flatleaf parsley 2 tbsp. fresh dill 1 tbsp. green chilli chopped 80g feta cheese crumbled Method: 1: Par boil the potatoes for eight minutes, then drain and leave to steam for five minutes. Pop the potatoes into a bowl, then sprinkle in the spices, Mix well then add into a baking tray along with some hot oil. Pop into an oven pre-heated to 200c / 180c fan, scatter the potatoes into the tray, then turn to coat generously in the oil. Cook in the oven for 30 minutes turning occasionally, crush with a glass then return to the oven for another 30 minutes, until crisp. 2: In a separate bowl, combine the mayonnaise, mustard, cucumber, onion, herbs and chilli, then gently fold the crispy potatoes through. Welcome to my Fakeaway Series, comment, if you’ve never tried one of these burgers before. Fillet O Fish (serves 4) Tartar Sauce: 6 tbsp. Mayonnaise 6 small Gerkins very finely chopped 1 tbsp. Fresh parsley chopped 1 tbsp. fresh dill chopped 1 tbsp. white onion very finely chopped Squeeze lemon juice 500g skinless cod fillet 50g plain flour 1 egg beaten 100g breadcrumbs 4 brioche burger buns toasted 8 slices of processed cheese Method: 1: Make the tartar sauce, by combining the mayonnaise, gherkins, herbs and onion along with a squeeze of lemon juice, and a pinch of salt and pepper. 2: Pat the fish fillets dry, then coat them in the flour, then egg, and finally the breadcrumbs until fully coated. Shallow fry in oil, heated to 180c for around 6 minutes until Golden and cooked through. 3: Assemble the burger by spreading some of the tartar sauce onto the bottom of the bun, add a slice of cheese, the Fillet o Fish, more cheese, sauce and top with the other half of the bun. #fakeaway #mcdonalds #mcdonaldshacks #filletofish #burgertok #burgerking

Seeing as you loved my last Potato recipe so much, here’s my favourite, make sure to give it a try Patatas Bravas (serves 4) 80g chorizo small dice 1 small onion chopped 1 tbsp. garlic paste 1 tbsp. tomato puree ½ tsp. chilli powder 1 tsp. smoked paprika 1 tsp. dried thyme 1 x 400g tin chopped tomatoes 700g Maris piper potatoes peeled and quartered 1 tsp. smoked paprika 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. dried thyme 1 tsp. onion powder 1 tsp. garlic powder 2 tbsp. fresh parsley chopped Garlic aioli to serve Method: 1: Fry the chorizo, onion, garlic and salt along with a splash of oil for three minutes, then add in the tomato purée, chilli powder, Paprika, thyme. Cook for a couple more minutes, then pour in the chopped tomatoes and simmer for 10 minutes. I like to use a potato masher to get rid of any lumps in the sauce. 2: Par-boil the potatoes in boiling salted water for 8 minutes then drain, leave to steam in the colander for 5 minutes. Pop into a bowl, then scatter in the Paprika, salt, thyme and the garlic and onion powder, gently toss to coat. 3: Pour a generous amount of oil into a baking tray and pop into an oven pre-heated to 200c / 180c fan and heat for 15 minutes, scatter the potatoes into the hot oil then turn to coat generously in the oil. Big Mac (serves 2) Big Mac Sauce: 4 tbsp. mayonnaise 1 heaped tbsp. gherkins very finely chopped 1 tsp. yellow mustard 1 tsp. garlic granules 1 tsp. onion Powder 1 tsp. paprika 1 tbsp. onion very finely chopped 1 tbsp. pickle juice from the gherkin jar 500g beef mince 2 tbsp. onion very finely chopped Lettuce shredded 4 slices processed cheese 3 brioche rolls toasted Method: 1: Make the Big Mac sauce by combining all of the ingredients in a bowl along with a pinch of salt baby then leave the stand for 10 minutes. 2: Divide the minced beef into four equal sized portions, then roll into balls. Pop into a hot pan then smash down until flat. Cook for a couple of minutes then flip and continue to cook the other side for further two minutes. 3: Build the burger by spreading some of the big Mac sauce onto the base of a toasted brioche roll, add chopped onion, lettuce, burger and cheese, then pop on the bun and repeat with the second layer. #fakeaway #mcdonalds #mcdonaldshacks #bigmac #mcdonaldssecrets #burgerking #burgers

Welcome to my Fakeaway Series. If you are from the UK, then you will know the only way you can get your hands on a McRib is to make it yourself and I’m here to show you exactly how to do it. Tag someone who misses the McRib. McRib Sandwich (serves 2) 400g good quality pork mince ½ tsp. salt 1 tbsp. BBQ seasoning 1 tsp. garlic granules 1 tsp. onion granules ½ tsp. black pepper BBQ sauce 2 sub rolls toasted White onion sliced Gherkins (optional as I hate them) Method: 1: Place your pork mince into a bowl then add in the salt, BBQ seasoning, garlic, granules, onion granules and black pepper. Mix well, then shape into two rectangular patties measuring approximately 6” x 3” if you wet your hands, this will make the job easier, then use your finger to make four indents within the meat, this will replicate the original shop bought version. 2: Place the patties into your air fryer and cook at 190c for 15 minutes or the internal temp reaches at least 75c. Halfway through brush with BBQ sauce. 3: Spread some BBQ sauce onto the base of a toasted sub roll, place the rib patty on top, then add some onions and gherkins before topping with the bun lid.

KFC Zinger Tower Burger (serves 2) Hashbrown: 1 large king Edward Potato grated approx. 350g 1 heaped tbsp. corn flour ½ tsp. garlic powder ½ tsp. onion powder 2 boneless and skinless chicken thighs Marinade: 100g Greek yoghurt 1 tsp. paprika 1 tsp. garlic granules 1 tsp. chilli powder 1 egg beaten KFC Crispy Coating: 100g plain flour 1 tsp. black pepper 1 tsp. paprika 1 tsp. chilli powder 1 tsp. garlic granules 1 tsp. onion granules 1 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. dried thyme 1 tbsp. dried oregano Supercharger Sauce: 4 tbsp. mayonnaise 2 tbsp. tomato ketchup 1 tsp. chipotle sauce 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce ½ tsp. garlic powder ½ tsp. onion powder 2 brioche buns toasted 4 slices processed cheese Shredded lettuce Method: 1: Grate the potato then wash in cold water, squeeze out any excess liquid then pop into a pan along with a splash of oil, then cook over low heat for 10 minutes. Leave to cool, then combine in a bowl, along with the cornflour, garlic powder, onion powder and some salt. Shape into rounds then freeze for 40 minutes. Fry in oil heated to 170c for 6-7 minutes or until crisp and golden. 2: Make the supercharger sauce by combining all of the ingredients in a bowl. 3: Place the chicken into a bowl along with the yoghurt, paprika, garlic granules, chilli powder and the egg, add a good pinch of salt then pop into the fridge for at least 2 hours. For the KFC Crispy Coating, combine the flour with the herbs and spices then dredge the chicken through, giving them a good coating. Fry the chicken at 170c for 5-6 minutes or until cooked through. Make sure the internal temperature reaches at least 75c. 4: Spread some Supercharger sauce onto the base of a toasted bun, and then add cheese, shredded lettuce, the crispy chicken, a slice of cheese, hashbrown then finally a bit more sauce before topping with the bun lid. #kfc #fakeaway #zingerburger #friedchick#friedchickenkensandwich #kentuckyfriedchicken #zingertowerburger

Welcome to my fakeaway series. Whats your favourite flavour wing? Sticky Hoisin Chicken Wings (serves 2) 8 chicken wings split into drums and flats 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. Shaoxing wine 1 tbsp. dark soy sauce 3 tbsp. corn flour 1 tsp. Chinese 5 spice 1 tbsp. garlic and ginger paste 2 tbsp. sweet chilli sauce 1 tbsp. rice vinegar 1 tbsp. dark soy sauce 1 tbsp. hoisin sauce Mayo for serving Fresh chives for serving Fresh red chilli for serving Method: 1: Pop the chicken wings into a bowl, along with the Shaoxing wine and soy, leave to marinade for 20 minutes. Combine the cornflour with the 5 spice then add the wings, give it a good toss until the wings are completely coated. Place onto the crisp plate within your air, fryer drawer, spray with oil and cook at 200°c for 16 minutes shaking halfway through. 2: Meanwhile for the ginger and garlic in a splash of oil for 2 to 3 minutes, then add in the sweet, chilli sauce, vinegar, soy and hoisin. Bring up to a simmer, then toss the wings through the sauce until fully glazed. Welcome to my Fakeaway Series, this is probably my favourite ever takeaway noodle dish, what’s yours ? Singapore Fried Noodles (serves 2) 100g vermicelli rice noodles 200g raw Prawns ½ red pepper sliced ½ onion sliced 1 tbsp. garlic and ginger paste ½ tsp. turmeric 1 heaped tsp. Curry powder 4 Spring onions chopped 2 green chillies sliced 1 tsp. sugar 1 tbsp. light soy sauce Method: 1: Soak the rice noodles in boiling water for four minutes, then drain and plunge into cold water. 2: Stir fry the prawns in a hot wok or frying pan, along with the splash of oil for a couple of minutes, then remove from the pan and set aside, fry the peppers, onion, and garlic and ginger paste for a couple of minutes, then adding the rice noodles, the spices, prawns, spring onion and chilies, then toss well until everything is piping hot. Welcome to my Fakeaway Series, I had a proper Alan Partridge moment with this, leave me a comment if you’ve ever done the same 🤣🔥 IYKYK Apple Pie (makes 3) 25g unsalted butter 150g Apples cut into small cubes 25g soft brown sugar Small squeeze lemon juice ½ tsp. ground cinnamon 1 tsp. cornflour and 1 tbsp. cold water mixed into a slurry 1 x sheet ready rolled puff pastry 1 egg beaten 1: Pop the butter into a pan, along with the apple, sugar and lemon juice, then add cinnamon to taste. Cook for five minutes over a low to medium heat, then add in the cornflour slurry. Cook for a further three minutes until thickened and then leave to cool. For ease, I like to put this mixture into a piping bag. 2: Cut a sheet of ready, rolled puff pastry into six equal sized pieces, take one of the pieces and pipe on a line of the Apple mix down the centre, brush the edges with the beaten egg, then place another piece on top. Gently squeeze out any air around the filling and then use a fork to firmly seal the edges. If you like, you can trim the edges to make them nice and neat. Pop into the freezer for at least an hour as this will make them easier to handle. 3: Deep fry in oil heated to 170° for eight minutes until crisp and golden. I like to dust mine in cinnamon sugar before eating. Welcome to my Fakeaway series, please be kind in the comments as I know this is not authentic Italian. But trust me it’s delicious. Fakeaway Spaghetti Carbonara (serves 2) 180g spaghetti 100g smoked bacon lardons 1 large clove of garlic peeled and crushed 1 tbsp. olive oil 70g parmesan cheese grated 2 egg yolks Extra parmesan cheese for serving Method: 1: Cook the pasta to the packets instructions then drain. Make sure to reserve the pasta cooking liquid as you will need this. 2: Gently crush the garlic clove down with the back of a knife but keeping it whole, then pop the bacon, garlic and oil into a pan and cook for 5 minutes until golden. Remove the garlic clove then add the drained pasta into the pan and toss. 3: Whisk together the cheese, egg yolks and black pepper then add 6 tablespoons of the pasta cooking liquid, stir to make a paste. Add this to the pasta, then stir well, adding more of the starchy pasta water until the spaghetti has a lovely covering of the cheesy sauce. AD Welcome to my Fakeaway Series and I’ve teamed up with @Lakeland to showcase their incredible Air Fryer rack, which is perfect for cooking these…… Chicken Tikka Kebabs (serves 4) 500g boneless and skinless chicken thighs cut into bite size pieces 1 tsp. dried fenugreek 1 tsp. Kashmiri chilli powder 1 tsp. turmeric 1 tsp. salt ¼ tsp. red food colouring (optional) 1 tbsp. garam masala 1 tbsp. mint sauce 1 tbsp. garlic and ginger paste Juice ½ lemon 100ml natural yoghurt 1 red pepper large dice 1 green pepper large dice ½ red onion large dice 4 naan breads warmed Mint yoghurt to serve Kachumber salad to serve Method: 1: Marinade the chicken in a bowl, along with rest of the Tikka ingredients. Leave to stand for an hour if you have time, but if not, these are good to go. Thread the chicken pieces onto a Lakeland skewer along with some peppers and onion, this will make 4, then place onto the rack and cook in your air fryer set at 200° for 15 minutes. Make sure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of at least 75c. 2: To make the kachumber salad, combine all of the ingredients in a bowl along with some salt then leave to stand for 10 minutes. 3: Serve the skewers along with some warmed naan breads, kachumber salad and some mint yoghurt dressing. #fakeaway #chickentikka #tikka #airfryer #airfryerrecipes #airfryertiktok #kebab #lakeland

Welcome to my Fakeaway Series, this banging recipe can be cooked in your air fryer. Chinese Hoisin Pork Belly Bites (serves 4) 4 thick cut pork belly slices (approx. 800g) 1 heaped tsp. Chinese 5 spice 1 tbsp. dark soy sauce Hoisin Glaze: 2 tbsp. hoisin sauce 2 tbsp. dark soy sauce 2 tbsp. sweet chilli sauce 1 tsp. sesame seeds 1 small green chilli sliced Method: 1: Cut the pork belly slices into bite sized pieces then pop into a bowl along with the Chinese 5 spice and soy mix well and leave to marinade for 20 minutes. Place on top of the crisp plate inside the air fryer drawer. Set your air fryer to 180c and cook for 16 minutes, shaking half-way through. 2: Whilst the pork belly is cooking make the glaze by mixing the hoisin, soy and sweet chilli. Pop the pork into a hot pan then pour this glaze over and toss well. Let me know in the comments ❤️ McDonalds Quarter Pounder (serves 2) 260g good quality beef mince ½ small onion sliced 2 seeded brioche buns toasted 4 slices processed cheese Tomato ketchup Burger mustard Gherkins if you like them (I hate them) Method: 1: Divide the mince in two then shape into burger patties slightly larger then your buns. Place into a hot pan along with a small splash of oil and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, season both sides with salt and pepper. 2: Drizzle some ketchup and mustard onto the base of your toasted bun, then add sliced onion, cheese, beef patty, more cheese then top with the bun lid. Did you know you could cook crispy chicken wings in your Air Fryer? Korean Chicken Wings (serves 2) 8 chicken wings split into drums and flats 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. black pepper 2 tbsp. corn flour 1 tbsp. garlic and ginger paste 1 tbsp. gochujang 1 tbsp. soft brown sugar 2 tbsp. dark soy sauce 1 tbsp. black rice vinegar 1 tsp. sesame seeds Fresh chives chopped Method: 1: Pop the chicken wings into a bowl, along with the salt, pepper and cornflour, then give it a good toss until the wings are completely coated. Place onto the crisp plate within your air, fryer drawer, spray with oil and Cooke at 200°c for 16 minutes shaking halfway through. 2: While the wings are cooking, fry the garlic and ginger in a splash of oil for 2 to 3 minutes. Adding the gochujang, sugar, soy sauce and vinegar, bring up to a simmer until all the ingredients are fully combined, then toss through the wings. Welcome to my Fakeaway Series. These were incredible, so you need to make them for your dinner. Crispy Salt and Pepper Prawns (serves 2) 300g Raw prawns 50g cornflour 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. Chinese 5 spice 1 onion diced 5 spring onions chopped ½ tsp. chilli flakes 1 tsp. cracked black pepper 1 tsp. Chinese 5 spice 1 tsp. sea salt flakes 2-3 red and green chillis sliced Method: 1: Place the prawns into a bowl along with the cornflower, five spice and salt, then dredge through until fully coated. Tap off any excess then fry the prawns in oil heated to 180c for about 2 minutes. Remove the oil and drain on some kitchen paper. 2: In a separate wok or pan, stir fry the onion and the white part of the spring onion for a couple of minutes, then add the crispy prawns, spices, chilli and green spring onion. Chicken Blackbean Noodles (serves 2) 2 egg noodle nests 300g chicken thighs diced 1 tsp. cornflour ¼ tsp. bicarbonate of soda 1 tbsp. soy sauce ½ onion diced 3 spring onions 5 dried red chillies 1 tbsp. garlic and ginger paste 1 tbsbespoon dark soy sauce ½ tsp. sesame oil 2 tbsp. black bean paste 1 tsp. sugar Method: 1: Boil the egg nests for four minutes then drain and plunge into cold water. Once cool. Pop back into a bowl at a tiny bit of oil then mix so the noodles are coated. This will stop them sticking together in the wok. 2: Heat a large frying pan or wok, then add a splash of oil. Pop in the chicken and cook until golden, this will take around three minutes. Add in the onion, spring onion and the garlic and ginger paste then toss for a minute. Pour in the soy, sesame oil and black bean sauce, then finally, the sugar. Throw in the noodles and toss well until all the ingredients are coated.
