blessed Easter everyone ❤️ Today is such a special day for me - as someone who was baptised when I was 12, this year I decided less than a week before easter Sunday to rededicate my life to God. A week or two ago, I shared a reel on my journey with God as a born-christian. I truly realised the weight my words carry and I vowed to myself since that I’d use my platform for a greater good. If my work / passion can help even just one person, it’ll be beautiful. Specifically the past few years, I was so distracted with what the world had to offer than what my God had to offer, which led me into becoming a person who lost compassion, patience and gratitude. Only with building my relationship with God and myself, I found that again. It’s a beautiful peace I found when I surround myself in healthier situations and healthier thoughts. As a mother, I want my life to lead as an example (YES, my life now) and my courage to be a role leading model for my daughter. Someone who isn’t afraid to admit past faults, but at least through it all after falling down 8 times i’lll still try again for the 9th time. Good things take time, and I thank God for everything he has done for me. March 2024 was the craziest month of my life thus far, He changed my life! ❤️ Blessed Easter everyone, and thank you Kingdom City SG & Ps. “you look happier now” well it took choosing to walk away from things & situations that no longer made me at peace with myself - despite never wanting live to turn out that way. a close friend of mine always reminded me during my toughest times that ‘your vibe attracts your tribe’ & ‘the work you put in today grants grace for everyday from that day’ and these 2 moments shifted my perspective on living life. My heart’s feeling some sort of way since IWD is coming. For the past few months, I spent most of my time working, with loved ones and most importantly - finding peace in being in solitude (which i feel is a woman’s greatest power other than giving birth) ❤️ As someone who struggled mentally with finding that peace within myself, which lead me to making not the best decisions and also learning from lessons over lessons. I figured to try a new perspective, where everything in life is a good thing. 🫶🏻 This IWD, I hope all you women AND men out there - learn to choose yourself in all situations.
