11 months without my mom tomorrow ❤️‍🩹 Losing a parent feels like being homesick, but never being able to go home ever again. Losing a parent, especially at a young age, is something I wouldn't wish upon anyone. Some moments you feel like they're going to come back, but then it hits you that they literally never will. Some moments you feel like you can still call them to talk about anything like you always have because they were your safe space, no matter what they were going through, they'd always listen, then you realize their phone number doesn't exist anymore and you feel sick.
