real fruit gummies! recipe & instructions here: ♥️🍓🐻 @Sean Kolar ingredients: 3 tbsp gelatin 2 tbsp water 1 1/2 cups of fruit 2 oz lemon 1 tbsp honey (i would use more next time!) equipment: silicone molds baking sheet squeeze bottle sieve Step 1: Mix 3 oz gelatin + 2 oz of water in a bowl, it gets a little clumpy. Set aside. This is “blooming” the gelatin. Step 2: Blend about 1 - 1.5 cups of fruit until you have 8oz of puree. Step 3: On the stove top, medium/medium low heat add 8oz of fruit puree, 1 tablespoon of honey (I would add more! This wasn’t sweet enough for me) and 2 oz of lemon juice. Let it come to a simmer, once it simmers for a minute or so take it off the heat and mix the bloomed gelatin until it’s all smooth and melted. Step 4: Strain that mixture through a sieve and into a measuring cup to get out any seeds. Step 4: Transfer the mixture into a squeeze bottle. Step 5: Put silicone molds on a baking sheet and use the squeeze bottle to fill in the mixture. Step 6: Let sit in fridge for 2 hours minimum. The texture is a little different than store bought gummy candy, it feels more like a fruit snack than a traditional gummy bear.
