Ive always been an advocate for loving yourself no matter your size. All of our situations are different, all of our bodies are different, we are all unique. Meaning, no one can tell you whats best for you, but you. In my case, the best way I could show myself love, is to get help. My body was hurting. My ED had taken over my every thought and it took me being told i was pre diabetic to realize, this is not how i want to live my life. Doing it alone though, wasnt working for me. Im 25, and i didnt wanna look back on all of my years of youth and remember all of the things i missed out on because of my weight or the health issues that were coming with it. I wanted to enjoy waking up everyday and have energy, to not be tired walking into a store, to not dread any activity that included moving my body, to be able to go to amusement parks with my friends, to not have to sit behind and miss out on life because of the fear i wouldnt be able to keep up. I wanted to LIVE, not exist. Im not saying you need to lose weight to be beautiful, or you need to lose weight in general. If you are content and happy and healthy and feel good in your body thats what matters. If you feel like you are living a good full life thats all that matters. Sadly, I wasnt any of those things. I was hurting my body so badly, and change was my only option. I share this for anyone who may be where I was. Who also feels hopeless but wishes so badly life could be different. It can be.
